To this day I am at a lost for words why PBF vs Corley isn't mentioned much.
Floyd is always being dogged for fighting guys moving UP in weight, but when he moved UP in weight it was like an expectation.
1st fight @ 140 and he not only banged with Corley-- he dropped him several times.
Floyds first fight at welterweight was?
Re: When Floyd and Manny retire...
Guess I'd have to look up his first at 147...don't remember.

No way!
That is why I hate when he talks crap about knocking out his opponent or going back to basics and chopping trees BS like that will give him some power.

Who, incidentally, the great Manny Stewart picked to beat Floyd hahaha.
Floyd's best years are well behind him, but I still say that at 140 and below he was an absolute thrill to watch more often than not. At 130 he was a VICIOUS boxer-puncher with power in both hands. 135-140 he was often very exciting and did a lot of Roy Jones-like shit.
Watch him predict the Super Bowl mid-fight and then go berserk and get the KO.

Great fight with Ndou, who was 31-1 with 30 KOs coming in. Great virtuoso offence on the outside and inside. Floyd stood straight in front of the puncher and threw bombs of his own.

Vs Gatti... I know Gatti wasn't exactly Ray Robinson in there but was a masterpiece in virtuoso offence.

He saw clips of Foreman and Shavers doing it and got the idea I guess.
He's old, he's got brittle hands and he's not a big puncher. He's not going to be KOing anyone at this point for sure.
