I've seen some crude craftsmen here converting even a handgun into full-auto...
Oh so you're already talking about an ILLEGAL firearm....so you know, extra gun control wouldn't be needed then ;)
Making such changes to a firearm IS illegal

Well yes, but don't forget, if guns are easy to acquire legally, it'll be much easier for criminally minded nuts to do whatever they please with them, including improvising them to make them more fatal. And don't forget, most guns these psychopaths use are legally acquired weapons.

1. Criminally minded people, ie those who have already committed crimes (felonies) are not allowed to own or possess firearms.
2. There's no "pre-crime" division of Law Enforcement yet AND there's a little questionnaire that asks if the purchaser is planning to use the firearm in an illegal manner and if the purchaser lies on that form then there are other charges that go with that.
3. Because they have no criminal history until the point they decide to become one.
Thank you for saying that gun control is useless because that's what I have been saying all along and since there is no way to un-invent the firearm then it's best that they remain readily available for law abiding citizens so that they might protect themselves, their loved ones, and their property.

Setting aside the sarcasm, you're welcome. Cool buddy.

This isn't a shooting spree per se..... but it's still the sort of news that points out the vast quantity of sick fucks in American society today. They come in all shapes, sizes..... and apparently ages. But the love of guns supersedes all of this. What's the life of a child when weighed against the goddamed 2nd Amendment?? Somebody besides just an 11-year old boy should have hell to pay when something like this happens.

Like his parents or guardians here. I don't think it was a love of guns for him with bringing a BB gun with a 12. gauge and thinking they could be equal. Sounds like this was a double barrel or single shot having a hammer been around hundreds of years, can't see them going anywhere soon.
Found myself on the other side couple months ago in Florida. Locally Wal Mart stopped selling long rifles after Katrina and I forgot you could still find them in others. Walking through Wally World and I turn the aisle to see a mom with 2 tiny kids in the cart literally pressed against the counter, assuming the guy who was next to them was dad examining and dry firing two rifles talking to the "sales clerk". I'm a gun owner but that just put me off, don't think we need to be selling, chambering rifles yards from diapers, kitten food and oblivious parents. At least rope the fooking counter off as toddler free zone. Maybe I'm getting old.

No you're not getting old. Common sense is common sense, and is ageless.
Too bad I couldn't find a picture I posted a long time ago on the "Shooting Spree of the Month" thread which showed a typical family with little kids in the shopping cart, next to a rack full of rifles and automatic weapons, like so many loafs of bread at the grocery store. I was going to repost it here.

US live in a different world to us. We have to understand and appreciate it even if it is hard accept.

We love our guns there's for sure, and it's going to be impossible to take them away anytime soon. In my opinion. ;D
