Saunders surprised me with the Lee win. I felt Lee held back a little. But at the end of the day, not really sure if Lee pulled the fight because he didn't want to even discuss the possibility of fighting GGG. Stranger things have happened.
But, Eubank/Saunders rematch? Saunders may not give him one, and why should he? lol....
;D
I think Eubank will win, probably even by stopping Saunders should they rematch.
Even on Eubank's worse night. Where there was no order in his corner, where he gave the first 4 rounds away, even with all that, it was only S.D win for Saunders. I did think Saunders nicked it though, but in a rematch, with Adam Booth there and the fact that Eubank has improved, to me there is only one winner.
Or maybe Saunders is just one of them fighters were you have to get in the ring with him, to realise how hard he is to beat.

I don't reckon a Eubank will beat Jacobs IF he ever fights him, and I don't think he fancies his chances either. The only other champs are Saunders, Canelo & GGG.
And anyway , what do you mean by "can go one better and win a legitimate title ?" Isn't Saunders Title legitimate? And if Eubank wins one , why is it "one better?" :)
Everyone knows WBO is 4th rate title and Eubank could easily beat Canelo and should be able to beat Jacobs once he feels he is ready.
Re: Eubank/Saunders rematch?
Believe it or not, there was a time in boxing when champions would use their optionals to unify and/or make super fights. Now they are used to avoid.
Saunders/Eubank rematch is a worthy one but the title does not even need to be involved and in fact both make more money w/o the sanctioning fees. That can wait.
Its getting to the point for this old guy that I may hand in my fan card and take a hiatus from the sport. All I'd have to do was read fightnews daily to sustain that hiatus. I'm awfully sick and tired of the litany of excuses as to why champions don't fight each other and in many cases don't even want to. That says something very deep. This "boxing is a business" excuse has a tooth so long its come through the top of its head. It really has become fundamentally a different sport.
Saunders by some accounts has been offered over 3 million green backs to unify with Golovkin. The thing here is, he will most likely make as much money afterward in future fights with a loss to this guy.
Its not a legacy killer in anyway given the opponent. However if he loses to someone else for a million, not only is his future pay in question but people will call him a one and done. I'm not trying to dump on Billy here because its most likely Warren making all the decisions and he aint got to many tetes left. But the Kazak has even said he'd go to England. By the time Billy gets a cut of the ppv, gate etc etc he would probably make 5 mil.

At least WBO don't have Interim, regular and Super Champions! 3 champs in 1 fucking Division!! So is a WBO Champ trump a "regular champ?"
Come on, there all as bad as each other.
So Eubank can beat Canelo easy? And he's not ready for Jacobs, but he'd beat GGG tomorrow according to Pop! Don't believe all the hype you read Master, let your own eyes tell you.
Btw, if the WBO is a 4th rate title, perhaps we shouldn't count British WBO champions! ðŸ˜
Yea I would have thought the WBO is one of the best. WBA are a joke and IBF arent any better. WBC are very biased to Mexican fighters.
Re: Eubank/Saunders rematch?
Absolutely ridiculous these days to claim one belt is superior to another. However, the WBA are by far the biggest piss takers and have the least credibility.
