Man that briggs fight was a fucking joke then out of no were he gets the ko. I was like wtf just happend also i was kinda sleeping during it and then boom he knocked him out. Briggs was a let down most of the time but for 30 secs he man up enough to be champ i guess bad fight though.
There are countless less than stellar title fights in this sanka division that dwarf Joshua/Martin in the field of terrible. With Martin nobody knew who he was but people, myself included thought he had a shot based on Joshua's newbie appearance in the ring and that he could have a David Price like chin.Quote:

Yeah there was nothing wrong with the actual fight Joshua v Martin, there have been plenty of one sided 1 or 2 round KOs in heavyweight title fights

Well the thing that keeps a even boring hw fight exiting is that a knock can happen out no were more then any division. Simple because it does not matter how talented that you are if a 230 plus dude hits you on the chin clean shit will happen a chin can only take so much cant make it stronger.
I think everyone understands what you are saying, but in this case the opponent, a 'world champ' was so pathetically poor it sucked. Congrats to Hearn for doing his research and taking the gamble, that's pro boxing, but I think this is a sign of things to come, our alphabet heavyweights will take over from the Russians.
