Under-rated chins, Ali springs immediately to mind. Put down on a few occasions but always got right back up, unlike Lewis who always stayed down.
Wayne McCullogh was tough as nails too
Lennox's fight vs Mercer was different than Tommy's. Tommy found out Ray could take pretty much anything he threw at him in 1991 and gased himself out and Lewis NARROWLY outboxed him in 1996!!!
Morrison had a good chin, aside from the Mercer and Bentt KO's he did pretty well. He would go down a time or two but nothing too bad.
So ar we saying that Morrison getting sparked badly by Bentt and Mercer is OK but Lewis gettting stopped by McCall and Rahman is not?
The thread title is underated chins so McCall Eubank McCallum etc etc have no business being anywhere near it.
How about Nigel Benn? hurting Benn was never difficult, but he came through against some serious punchers.
Lawrence Cley Bey always struck me as having a good chin.
I'm just saying Morrison is about on par with Lewis....they had decent chins, not anything special....Morrison did get back up off the canvas which Lewis never did (When did Akinwade knock him down? )
Thats news to me too ???
If your saying underated then Oscar Larios, he has an IRON chin. Also Lacy, he did take 1007 shots and only sort of go down in the 12th. Eubank and bernard are obvious picks.
Sorry, but Nigel Benn ain't making this list. Technically, he was KO'd in the first round against McClellan, only to have the ref leave for coffee and a danish before coming back to actually resume the count.Quote:

Good looking out Lyle, Yep Tua has a great chin. I would like to see him face Peter,Klitschko,Brewster,Briggs or even Ruiz again.Quote:
