Re: Your Neighborhoods where you all live - city/ town? rural?
Just noticed there's a Ponce, Puerto Rico. Isn't Ponce a british term for fag?

No Ponce is a British term for a gay man or a pimp profiteering from prostitution. A British term for a fag is a ciggie, a smoke, a cancer stick or a cigarette :-X:biker::wackomz4::toff::lyle:

Yes there's a saying here where if someone asks you where you live you reply- I'm not telling you you'll Nick my washing
Shoulda told me. We would've had a few beers together.
San Juan's ok, although quite crowded. Did you get to see Old San Juan? Quite charming place, although it can get kind of crowded also.

Wow no kidding.
Ponce is a pretty proud name here, seeing as how it came from old Juan Ponce de Leon, a Spanish explorer and conquistador.

I don't know. Walked a fair distance from port. Remember walking through narrow streets with old buildings and then getting to some place with an old fort type in the rocks and loads of locals out flying kites. That it ?
Then went to senor frogs and got pissed.

Ok sounds like that's all you did.... Old San Juan. ;D That fort was El Morro and yeah... locals love to congregate there and fly kites. It's an old Spanish fort used to defend against ships trying to come into the bay.
I'm not a fan of SeƱor Frogs and find it vastly overrated. There's a lot of good restaurants in OSJ, you just have to know your way around.
Sounds like you came in on a cruise ship.... but you stayed a couple of days?
Anyway, San Juan itself is pretty huge. There's another touristy area called Condado. Lots of beaches, hotels and casinos around that area. But to see Puerto Rico itself, you'd need over a week.

Yes. Ate at some Mexican.
Yes for some reason it was two days there. I can't remember why. I do remember having to piss around with immigration though for this part. This was the time I was away for a month and had done the Rocky tour in Philadelphia with all the locations and posted photos on here. So forgive me if my memory is a little hazey.

I went to a fancy dress party up in Birmingham last month.
The theme was 'Spice', so I went as a chilli pepper.
Inrealised that I had made a mistake, and was reminded that I was in Birmingham when everybody else turned up dressed as astronauts.

Dirty South and substantially diverse people. It's actually refreshing over the last decade, sorta.
