Pac has benefitted from a couple bad decisions and been hurt by a couple. It evened out.

Didn't disagree with a word I said and can't because it is all true. But insulted me. I should learn to call people names so I can be popular.
Since so many want to call me names I think I will explain myself. I talk to people here as if we knew each other. Very smart ass, very tongue in cheek. You all will notice I don't insult anyone. Because I mean no insult. I talk in an insulting manner because that is how friends talk. It's BSing. But insulting people is different, it's hostile. So all those that want to continue insulting me perhaps keep that in mind.
You are stupid

Well said, Ron. I totally agree with you. You can argue with a degree of arrogance and style, but when someone resorts to concluding an argument with 'You are a motherfucking cunt who should have been aborted' or something along those lines....Well, it is is just hostility isn't it? They quite like it like that here though, so watch out.
Re: Horn decision makes me rethink boxing
Actually miles I tried making friends with Ron Swanson and asked him to vote for me over you in The Who is smarter thread but Ron ignored my three pleas for help. He can't claim to talk to me like a friend and ignore me in a time of need so something doesn't smell right

I wouldn't disagree with that assessment
Pacquiao says he was "set up" apparently. Not sure where to find him saying it but it is being reported he said it

To be fair I have no place in such a thread. Next time make such pleas in a hater thread. And if you were so smart you would recognize your audience.

I think you have too many options. :)
That is what makes him a good mod
Have you seen eric p4p posts? Read them. The man is crackers.
Eric's Gospel:
"the best boxers in the world are the bigger boxers"
Now I know why Horn won. He's the bigger boxer. The best boxers in the world are the bigger boxers.
So Manny never had a chance, because he's always been smaller than Horn.
I'm soooooooooo happy it's all clear now.
It's like finding out The Meaning of Life.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if he said that. I wish I could see/hear when he said it.
And I'm assuming you knew I was being sarcastic by my comment 😜

Maybe that's why he gets treated this way. But when Oscar lost to Tito, I left boxing for a while.
This one gives me that same feeling of disgust about the entire business. Casamayor vs. Santa Cruz and Foreman vs Briggs also put me at the brink. It's almost like I am colluding in something that lacks a moral underbelly-- something that is innately tenuous at best and foul at worst. I think it's called a moral compass and mine just tiled to the wrong side again.
The thing is there are no morals in boxing! your a winner or a looser simple the amount of fights which the decision has been a farce are beyond
me there is a dark underbelly in boxing pity it ruins a great sport.:(
Agreed.

Your posts come across as rude and hostile, whether you intend to or not. Although it is true you do never insult anyone back.

It is true Ron. Since we had a little talk I don't mind u but you come accross as talking down to people. You have a lot of good boxing knowledge which is cool but you don't get it accross well and it makes people respond badly. Not trying to pick a fight here just hoping things can chill a bit as you have some good knowledge to bring to the forum

I don't get that at all. Ron just sounds old school and that is great for the forum. Horses for Courses.

Ron, we have brought you here today for an intervention...
