As much of a fan as I am of Hagler and Leonard, their fight remains one of the most mystifying fights I've ever seen. And I don't necessarily mean that in a good way.

Buchanan absolutely deserved the rematch. I would've still favored Duran, though.
Re: Your top three rematches you would have loved to see
Tito is right there something very fishy about that fight have Marvin Hagler could not seem to pull the trigger. Why Marvin Hagler chose to fight Orthodox for the first six rounds instead of walk straight through him in the Southpaw stance is beyond mystifying

Hamed v Barrera - would love to see that (formerly) little punk get pounded again!
Re: Your top three rematches you would have loved to see
Didn't Leonard tell repeatedly tell Hagler that he could not outbox him?
I wonder if that was part of it.

Hagler miscalculated when he fought orthodox and gave away vital rounds. One judge was just bias, corrupt or mental.

The warrior who came out and in less than 3 rounds destroyed the lethal Tommy Hearns...... decides to pussyfoot around with Leonard, fighting righty and giving away rounds. Especially an old veteran who knew the ropes and how judges can turn in dodgy decisions. "Fishy" is kind of an understatement with me. Then he walks away from boxing, having never settled the score.

I think you are reading too much into it. Hagler knew he blew it and knew Leonard would make him beg for the rematch which he was not prepared to do.

That would have been a great one. Benn made me an instant Stateside fan there and thought he got a bad rap for 1st 'hitting him when down' which he actually didn't. The ref was moving in slow motion and totally unsure about stopping Iran on technical 3 kd rule. What a mini war!
