So let's see... we've got Bivol saying he's not really interested in a Canelo rematch (but probably would for the right price)... Usyk wanting to drop down for the cash cow... and meanwhile Benavidez feeling ignored because Canelo won't (cough) "fight fellow Mexicans." Either way, the Canelo fan base will spin it in a positive fashion for Canelo... which is why I still hope whoever fights him next just knocks him out and end all this nonsense. Bivol could've done it if he pressed... and maybe he'll do it if there's a rematch.
I feel good with Usyk just talking here. No way he's going that route and vice versa with Canelo. Just a lot of smoke when Fury is the high end muffin-sludge to move. Also Morrell is now looking for real-estate at 168 and showing he's capable. Wondering how mush Canelo is just sitting there hoping Morrell and Benavidez are made to sort it out first. That would actually be a fantastic fight ;D.

If they did fight Alvarez would lose. But there's more money at heavyweight for Usyk, just hard ways to earn it. Fury and Wilder are tough nights and you've got the chance of being knocked out cold with Wilder. Not a good look for Ukraine right now. I don't think Alvarez is going to go near this. Fighting Bivol is a walk in the park compared to Usyk.

no fight date set yet but i'm already leaning towards caleb here, i'll have to wait to see them at the weigh in though to decide

Re: Canelo will disappear.
I wouldn't put it past The Ginger to (excuse the pun)... gingerly skip over light heavyweight (where Beterbiev would rip him a new one... and Bivol already did)... and head to cruiser for a shiny trinket.
He already entertained thoughts of fighting Makabu couple of years ago, before coming to his senses backing off.
Many fighters go up in weight... no problem there. But only The Ginger skips whole divisions to avoid getting reamed (again) by superior competition.
What a fukking trinket-grabber. :D
Re: Canelo will disappear.
Where's all the Badou Jack revelry and respect ;D. Actually nice to see a guy absent all the theater and bait n switch. No "dared to be great" tonight ;D. If there's a list of this era's top multi division road warriors who face top dogs, contended and won in the title picture it's Jack. No silver platters handed after arguable L to Pascal. He decides to go 190 and actually works the weight and does work at lower level. Then springs up and beats the brakes off of the 190 trinket Canelo was teasing at the very highest level and makes himself a 3 division champ. And is totally overshadowed by of all things a Fury-Paul celebrity event :poke:. Hey if Canelo wants to knock on Jacks door I'm all for it. Sounds like a mutual collision style wise. As long as it means we don't have to sit thru Bivol spanking Canelo again sign me up.
Re: Canelo will disappear.
do you think sergey kovalev could sneak in first? he was ordered in some wbc eliminator recently. badou v sergey could still be a bonza fight

Sergey's yesterday's news. Spends his career at light heavy... wilts inexplicably against Ginger... goes on a 3-year hiatus... and comes back as a blown up cruiser for his only action after Ginger.
He should retire in shame.
Or... come back and make amends for his mysterious dive.

No doubt, I had to go back, I forgot what a entertaining war Pascal and Jack had. Had him winning that one and he also got screwed in 'draw' with DeGale. Man has earned his spot. That's for sure.

someone is gonna predict (sarcastically) that Tiger Woods reappears to fight The "Ging' " in 5............4................3............
