Alright people & SSSP...starting the weekend off tonight we got a battle over the WBO & NABO Lightweight title on Friday Night Fights courtesy of ESPN.

Undefeated prospect Anthony Peterson (17 wins with 13 ko's) takes on Adan Hernandez (14 wins with 5 ko's & 4 losses) at the Pepsi Pavillion in Memphis, TN. Should be a goody.

The fight is about 30 some odd minutes away. Tilt your glass, lift that bottle, or just pop the cap on that can...it's fight night & we be drinkin!

THIS WEEKEND = THE TRIFECTA...

Ok...see I know that post was light hearted and I know there is A LOT of bitterness directed at Taylor because he got those 2 decisions vs B-Hop (which Taylor shouldn't be held accountable for imo) but...he didn't have to take this fight. He just went 24 rounds with a guy who was P4P #1 going into their first fight. He could have taken an easy fight, most everybody else would have but he went after the best. He deserves to be commended because I can't think of any other young champion in recent memory who did that. So props to Taylor for taking this fight.

So if come Saturday, Taylor managed to win, I would be upset because Winky is my favorite fighter along with Jeff Lacy but at least it's a down to earth fighting champion winning and not some cocky english asshole >:mad

Agreed...props to Taylor & if he does win...it wouldn't be that bad for the sport...but still...I want Wright to win out of selfishness.

It's alright...didn't miss much. I've always felt his brother was better.. but more people thought that this one was because of his power. He just hits harder, but his brother is better all around.
