Re: Is WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO the next MUHAMMAD ALI
Audley Harrison lost against Danny Williams because he was upset about him not getting the correct afro sheen for his cornrows.. he lost against Dominic Guinn because of too much afro Sheen which made him weigh 20 pounds more. Audley shaves his head he becomes a better fighter its that simple!!!!!
;D

THIS MEANS NO SENSE CONFUSED??????????
MY DOG MAKE MORE SENSE WOOF WOOF! MY DOG HUNGRY THE LAST QUESTION I UNDERSTAND IN THIS FORUM IS WHY DIDN'T WLAD FIGHT LAMON WHEN HAD THE CHANCE.
ACTUALY WLAD ONLY WANTED TO FIGHT LAMON TO GET REVENGE BUT LAMON PULLED OUT FOR HIS COUNSIN AND LIED THAT HE CAN'T HAVE THE FIGHT BECAUSE HE JUST COME OUT OF HOSPITAL. LAMON COUSIN CHRIS BYRD WANTED REVENGE AND SOMEHOW DREAM IT MAY HAPPEN BOTH COUSIN DREAMS WERE SHATTERED IN LESS THAN 1 MONTH TIME TO DEFEND TITLE

Re: Is WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO the next MUHAMMAD ALI
Vitaly has the chin and has never been defeated or outboxed.
Ali had troubles with Henry C. and Chuvalo; seriously You think that Vitaly would have problem with Cooper? You think that Ali would beat Klitschos? I say that it would be hard fights.
You Klitschko doubters: Wlad had not had much experience with getting hit because he is so good. Now he has adjusted and has more coping skills.
And: Corrie Sanders, Lennox, Vitaly are the Greats of recent time. almost EVERYONE was knocked down by Sanders (exception 1 random dude, and Vitaly (but it could have happened) Rahman was down early. So losing to this man with superhuman punching power is n dishonor; I think ALi-Sanders would be a fabulous contest.
Ali-Lennox = even who knows; Lennox is so huge.
Ali - Sanders = even
Ali - Vitaly = Vitaly wins I mean Ali cant knock him out; I mean Vitaly when champ. Still Ali being ALi it could be even.
In any case I dont think that our greats would be beaten by the best of the past. But man would I love to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope there is a heaven where boxing is allowed.

Re: Is WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO the next MUHAMMAD ALI
I think Wlad is the best of today's current Heavyweights. But the next Ali? Wlad ain't even the next Tim Witherspoon. A fighter who if around today, would clean out the division.

Wladimir lost his first fight at age 27 after becoming the heayweight champion but also reclaimed his title 3 years later from the longest reigning champion (chris byrd).
Ali was very tall for a man in the 1960's
Wladimir is very tall for a man in the 20 century.
Both boxer are very good looking
Ali is very intellingent as we know it
Wladimir is very intellingent Don't fortget his p.h.d
Both boxer have the best personality ever in the world, as well as one of the nicest people ever they are.
Ali had contact with political leader like malcolm X also Wladimir brother was trying to be a mayor of of kiev, my point is Wladimir has contact with political leaders too.
And my main point is there wladimir and ali are so similar that the only diffferent between ali and wladimir is that Ali has been there and done it and wladimir is going through the same path at this present time.

Re: Is WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO the next MUHAMMAD ALI
Give me a break!!!!!!!!
You think Ali would win clearly over Wladimir K, when ali had to go the distance with Doug Jones, Ernie Terrell etc, etc why would WK who his like 40 pounds heavier and expertly trained and fed lose to ALI?
ALI and WK (VK or Sanders or Lennox or Bowe) is even.

Re: Is WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO the next MUHAMMAD ALI
Wlad is the greatest!
(Sanders was the greatest when he beat him Lennox said he avoided Sanders)

Re: Is WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO the next MUHAMMAD ALI
KEN NORTON WASN'T THE GREATEST FOR BEATING ALI
HASIM RAHMAN WASN'T THE GREATEST FOR BEATING LENNOX
SO Y IS SANDERS GREATEST FOR BEATING
BEFORE U START WITH THAT REMATCH THING THERE ARE SOO MANY AMATEUR FIGHT, LENNOX AND ALI HAVE LOST AND NEVER HAD A REMATCHED

Why do I feel like the most sober and able person on this thread. What the hell is wrong with you all?! Comparing any Russian to Ali?>?? Despite what they want to claim, the sport isnt today what it was then. Ali is the greatest ever. That is why ESPN classic is always showing Ali reruns. Not Vittali re runs. Stop wasting time on this lame asz thread.

What's really funny is that you actually call them champions.  And believe it.  They ain't champions.  There title holders.  And weak ones at that.  Wlad as I said before, is the best one of them.  But his IBF title came from the no punch, much smaller Chris Byrd.  Still I do give him some credit.  The WBC title holder is Oleg Maskaev.  Yes, that Oleg Maskaev.  The one who's been laid out by Lance Whitaker, Kirk Johnson and Corey Sanders.  He got his title from Mr. Mediocre himself Hasim Rahman.  Rahman never even won the title.  it was given to him when Vitaly retired.  Yet, Oleg calls himself champion.  How sad.  Than we got the WBA crappyass champion.  Nicolay Valuev.  The man is ranked 10th in the division by the very respected Ring magazine.  Yet the man he beat (I mean the man who's title he stoled) John Ruiz is ranked 6th.  Why is that?  Cuz he's fuckin garbage, that's why.  Hell, Larry Donald whipped his ass, but was robbed of the win.  As for the other clown, Sergei Liakhovich.  Not only did Mo Harris knock him out, but he holds the WBO title.  Why is the WBO of a sudden starting to get recognized?  He shouldn't even be mentioned.  What's next?  I got to find out who holds the IBO, WBU , XXX titles?  Bottom line is todays heavyweights suck.  I don't care were there from.  If Tim Witherspoon or even Tony Tucker were around they would knock out all these chumps.

Wlad is good don't get wrong, but Klit is nothing more than a fashionable outfit in an unfashionable time.
I despise Lennox Lewis but Lewis on any given day would be Wlad as well, remember timing is everything and Wlad is a big fish in a small pond..

No George Foreman that came back and was old and fat doesn't beat Wlad...Wlad could stay away from him for 10-12 rounds.
PRIME Foreman is different he's one of the greatest of all time
Wlad is getting to the point where he's as good in a given fight as Lennox Lewis...the domination of Byrd was pretty good

to be honest wlad is chinny and i think even old foreman would land big blow sooner or later and ko wlad

The 2nd career of Foreman was more than just a PR stunt and a cute public interest story for over 40yr olds
George's chin from 1987-1994 was superb..I would say the best at that time...His heart and determination at that time was rivaled only by Evander Holyfield, say what you want about OL fat George but he Paced himself and had conserved his energy by staying amazingly composed, focused and relaxed, not to mention he had Helacious and deceptive punching Power George didnt have to be accurate with his punches he could KO you with a glancing Blow.
George could Absorb the best of what Wlad would have to offer and keep coming forward until Wlad starts huffing and puffing gets sloppy and George catches him, then gets Wlad all flustered gets Knocked down and dosen't have the heart to get up off the canvas and win..
Michael Moorer could tell Wlad how much George had left in the tank by the time round 10 came along after George was getting tooled on was having a shut-out pitched against him..
-
Re: Is WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO the next MUHAMMAD ALI
I won't argue with you, George ALWAYS could punch but he couldn't move...guys like Briggs and Morrison were able to outbox and outrun Foreman and they were "chinny"
