Maybe it's because you've turned everybody against Kessler? :P
No i thought he lost but i thought he put up a good fight and hes improved heaps and could give kessler a run for his money. I just wanna see beyer go out with a big win and man the guy is crafty. Danny Green hammered him in the first fight, yet he did what was needed in training and he schooled danny in the second fight. He can win, dont count him out.Quote:

:Djust in my meaningless opinion, kessler will destroy beyer ,hes way to strong and skillfull. If green can floor him im sure kessler will do worse......and then kessler out points calzaghe!!!!SHOW DOWN Mundine VS kessler II!!!! Mundine UNDISPUTED super middle weight champion of the world!!!!FUCK YAZ ALL!!
This will be a big night for Royal. For years he has been telling you about Kessler and his abilities and tonight Kessler will shine – actually Royal finds his mission on Saddo completed when Kessler tonight stands as WBA/WBC champ.
It has been a hard fought battle here at Saddo’s – especially the “depression” under the illusional Lacymania was a teak tough time for Royal as he had to fight a lone war against blind Lacy fans – but in the end Royal came out on top with a few scratches ;D

Don't get ahead of yourself Royal. Don't count your chickens before they've hatched. Atthe end of the day, in all likelihood, Kessler will be standing with a belt over each shoulder, but boxing is a strange beast atthe best of times, and it takes only one punch to knock any boxer out. However big a favourite any boxer is, there's always a chance. Ask Buster Douglas....Quote:

Name a fight that makes you think that Kessler is anything special, anything different from what Beyer has faced ?
If anything Kessler hasnt fought anyone of Beyers expierience and although he has fought spouthpaws they were a while ago and only 3, Beyers style will bemuse Kessler, beyer beat Richie Woodhall who is taller than Kessler and in his own back yard, Kessler does nothing special, he has only beaten fighters who have been beaten worse by other fighters, hes getting alot of unwaranted hype
With two weeks notice Kessler prepared and destroyed The Ring's no. 2, Manny Siaca - in his very first defence he went half around the world and fought The Ring's no. 3 Anthony Mundine abroad! - in Kessler's 3. title defence he is taking on The Ring's no. 3 (Beyer) - who else in SMW has fought The Ring's no. 2, 3 and 3 in his latest four fights? None!Quote:

And if it did matter... He has to beat the ring's number 3 for it to be a point... not just take the fight... not that I expect him to loose but it's not really anything to bargin with until he beats him...
Weak, in what way? When has the division been stronger? Calzaghe is most likely the best SMW ever.Quote:

Who in SMW should he have fought in SMW IYO to make a good win, then?Quote:

Kessler is gifted, no doubt about that. So is Calzaghe, Beyer, Mundine, Bute, Andrade, Lacy, Veit, Brahmer, Reid, Green, and Markussen. Good division!
What I like about the fight is that both men seem to respect each other and behave that way...
No trashtalking and stuff...I really like that...Some of the people here can learn from this... ;)
As for the fight...,I don't usually go with the underdog, but in this case I do ...
I really hope that Beyer wins this ...
Well said mate, agree totally. To me it seems that the SMW is very strong at the moment, with 4 or 5 big established stars, and a fair few young prospects coming through. Now all we need is to see them fighting each other more often to cut the wheat from the chaff.Quote:

Bute is an excellent prospect IMO, could be champ very soon.Quote:

Surely this removes Markussen from his position as Calzaghe's mandatory opponent by the WBO, and makes it slightly easier for a superfight between Calzaghe and Kessler. However, next on the WBO's list is also the IBF's #1 contender Robert Stieglitz, which might force Calzaghe into another fight before any Kessler bout.
168 IS devoid of PROVEN talent
Calzaghe is on another level at this point....but he's peaking
Kessler is an unknown still....can he take a punch? can he outbox a slick fighter with a good chin?
Lacy is a little better known simply because he fought Calzaghe and was put to the test and he lost but he'll be back
The problem with SMW at the moment is, I agree, the lack of really proven fighters that aren't championship level, but have made a challenge or two, so that people on the up can be judged against, but that level of fighters just doesn't seem to be there, and the only way to test these guys now is throw them in at the deep end.Quote:
