When i listen to Atlas during the bigger fights and not so often,he's not too bad,he makes good points etc etc. When I listen to him during less well known matches/more often, for some reason(as Ouamfan once pointed out to me a while ago and with which I now agree),he is sooooooo annoying! He comes out with random things,he is soooo overhyped and uses the silliest of analogies!
Like I said though,he''s ok sometimes and I LOVE how after a Litzau fight,Litzau was comparing himself with SRL(I think it was aafter the Nalasco war),and Atlas was telling him to calm down in a really harsh tone,I think that humbled Litzau a little and it must have been embaressing!
Seriously? May be you are analysing the fight alot so don't really listen to the commentary?Quote:

Still listen to it but never pay it to much mind. Lampley is awesome just because of how exciting he can make a fight. Bernstein is probably the best but he doesn't have the character of a Lampley, Merchant or Atlas so he gets the short end of the stick a lot. But let me tell you, Al Bernstein can tell a story like no one I have ever met. Really good guy.
You met Al Bernstein? Coool!! How was he? He is probably my favourite,he knows the game inside out and he makes great points which usually turn out to be true at some point during the fight.
I think atlas is ok on the espn boxing matches. He definitely helps out the boxing illiterate.
Yeah id go along with that. Comes across such a nerd tho it must be said!Quote:

My nominations would be:
Juan Manuel Marquez - losing to Chris John and then two rather laborious wins in 2006.
Rudy Markussen - In line for a mandatory challenge against Calzaghe, then blows it in an 8 rounder against some unheralded Russian.
Ike Quartey - The year that his comeback hit the rails in a big way. An unlucky loss against Vernon Forrest, but a generous Winky Wright lets him go the 12.
Zab Judah - Two defeats on the bounce in title bouts, and nothing much heard from him in recent months.
Any other nominees?
:coolclick: YOu know...everyone rips on Kellerman...but I love the guy.Quote:
