Spinks was natural Lightheavy only got title getting 2 gifts off a faded Holmes

Smith koed a Witherspoon who was having drug problems and bad dealings with King his head wasn't in the game in his prime he easily dealt with Smith

Pinklon Thomas had talent but he had just got out of rehab

Carl Williams had talent but his chin was badly weak

Berbick had been koed in 1 round before Tyson got to him and lost every round against Holmes

Tubbs had 2 weeks to prepare and was badly out of shape

Smith lol don't make me laugh he lost to Marvis Frazier

Biggs is like Williams had talent but his chin was badly weak and he never beat an elite fighter just like Williams

Holmes 38 2 weeks to train on losing streak and hadn't fought in nearly 2 years.

And it isn't crap Tubbs said himself he had 2 weeks to train because he was a replacement i believe

And again with this Holmes couldn't ko Spinks firstly he was fading and was shot secondly it doesn't matter if he couldn't ko him he still won both fights to 98 percent of the public

Tyson had cleaned out most the champs and was destroying everyone including Bruno and took less time to do it than it did back in 89 so you can't use that excuse and Tyson was doing his fair share of dirty tactics .

2nd fight Holyfield continued butting and holding Tyson lost it and got dq'd

the second holy-tyson was very competitive tyson got rocked the 1st 2 rds and then battered holyfield all over the ring in the 3rd. just before he had enough of holys dirty tactics and reacted like an animal

2nd fight was going the same way as the 1st, that's why Tyson took the easy way out

Holmes must have said he was scared after the fight because he werent saying it before

yes tyson was destroying bums and fought a total off 8 rds after 4 year layoff and he didnt train hard for holyfield, he thought holy would be a push over. and took him lightly

yeah what happened the next round? rd #6....tyson was rocked by way of a huge holyfield head butt...again.....which caused a huge cut on his eye.he was clearly shakin by it.......hence the flash knock down

I'm neither a fan of Lewis nor Tyson, though I enjoyed watching many of their fights. So I feel I have an unbiased opinion.

A prime, motivated Lewis would be hard for Tyson to beat, IMO. I stress motivated, because it was a well known fact that Lewis was prone to come in at less than 100% mentally. An unfocused Lewis would be victimized by a Tyson bomb sooner or later, and it'd be nighty-night Lennox. Tyson was definitely better and stronger than either Rahman or McCall, and look at what happened when Lennox came unprepared for both of them.

On the other hand, Lennox had too many physical advantages over Tyson. Taller, bigger....... and with a HUGE punch. Prime Tyson could bob and weave, yes... but eventually he'd have to come inside of Lewis' range, and it'd be bombs away. A focused Lewis would've done a Buster Douglas on Mike, IMO.

At the end of the day,Lewis went down to shots by two light hitting undersized heavys
Not barrages,but 1 shot,lights out
Tyson specialized in those,it gets even worse when you add in his ability to barrage
So it still comes down to,can Lewis make the fight go long,or could Tyson take his punchers chance in there

Tyson in his prime had no problem knocking out taller fighters. Weren't all fighters taller than him? :P Tyson beat taller and faster punchers. I somehow consider Lewis a bit slow and tires after a few rounds just like he did against Klitschko and add to that a glass jaw and you have Tyson winning by KO.

If your basing it on one of Lewis worst performances against Vitali then your totally missing the picture Lewis has never really had stamina problems that i can remember.

How many Lewis fights have you watched for him to be glass jawed he took the best Mason had to offer who had something like 35 wins 32 kos he took Ray Mercer's best Vitalis best and Frank Brunos best if he had glass jaw he wouldn't of made it past these fights.

Tyson also had great challenges out there with way taller boxers who he went through them with ease for a KO or a convincing decision. Mason has a good record but with not quite a convincing opposition, never leaving his country to look for bigger challenges.

Still Mason could bang and he hit Lewis flush quite a few times only good tall fighter Tyson fought in there prime was Tucker and he gave Tyson some troubles i think Lewis would do better than Tucker did.
