Floyd's biggest problem is simple. People think that these guys will beat him for sure (Delahoya, Gatti, Corrales, G. Hernandez, even when Mayweather fought Baldomir people were talking about how Mayweather has never faced a "true welterweight ::** " and it will soon be Hatton) When Mayweather beats these guys, he makes them look so bad that the haters say he these opponents weren't good enough in the first place. Then they move on to these other chumps (Margarito, Cotto, Cintron, etc.) saying that THESE are the guys that could beat Mayweather, and how Floyd has been ducking these "true champions ::**" the whole time.
He's the best in the sport by a long shot, at this time. The haters can cry all they want, BUT...................................
World Titles in 5 different weight classes while being undefeated at 30 years old (with almost 40 fights) is insane.
Can the haters name anybody else in recent memory who can touch on that??

If you divert your attention to my cool click and sad click ratio it will give you some indication as to how wrong you are about me riding the coatails of others. Perhaps being one of the only British PBF fans (and damn proud) on this website quite clearly shows that I do not post for proverbial 'pats on the head' from the more 'intelligent' members here. On the subject of intelligence my IQ is 131, not too bad for someone who clearly has a lack of intelligence and needs the backup of other members eh? I do not post nor care for the acceptance of my opinions from the members here, I come here like most to discuss a sport that I love. Maybe hid your pants after P.E class forcing you to walk around outside with your hands between your legs and a silly bewildered look on your face until you found them. Eventually forcing you to become a social recluse sitting behind your keyboard at home flicking through the Thesauras that Uncle Fred bought you for Christmas trying to make yourself sound clever with big words on the internet. This would possibly explain your blind hatred for the man and unwillingness to recognise his achievments in the boxing world. Again, I will say how does Mayweather ever put himself at a disadvantage when he is the P4P kingpin!? He actually went someway to put himself at a disadvantage against De La Hoya. I've said before but i'll say it slowly again..He catered to all of ODLH's demands and weighed 15-20lbs less than his adversary on fight night. He overcame all of those factors to win.

As shocking as it is, Chuck, some people thought Baldomir was too big for Mayweather. Even the promotional poster was named 'Pretty Risky' if I remember right because of this. Wait...what people thought Floyd would lose against Delahoya, Gatti, Corrales, G. Hernandez, or Baldomir?!!! I think VERY FEW knowledgeable boxing fans would have picked against Floyd in those fight. With maybe the exception of Oscar...simply because of the size/weight difference...Floyd was the strong favorite against the rest. I am not going to go into the whole is Floyd's resume great or not debate...it has been done to death. But when his fans expect him to deserve major props for fighting and beating guys like Gatti, Baldomir, etc...that's when i have an issue. He simply did what he was supposed to do against guys like that...beat less skilled and slow fighters convincingly. Not going to hate on him for that...but i'm not going to gush about what a tremendous accomplishment that is. So his fans need to stop bunching everyone in the same group that thought he was "going to lose" against some second rate fighters. Some of us know Floyd is tremendously talented....but aren't stupid enough to think B and C level fighters are going to beat him. At the same time...Floyd's fans need to stop thinking that beating guys like Gatti merits universal acclaim. I will/have given him his props when he fights and beats excellent fighters and i will be critical or indifferent when he faces/beats over matched stiffs.

Actually had a laugh at your post even though it was at my expense.
Here's the deal, I'll reduce myself to the same level as whoever attacked first. I love a good debate and don't always feel the need to respond back if someone makes a decent point. You may want to check out people like ICE COLD BOXING, he never needs to stoop to calling someone names even if he vehemently disagrees with their argument. You were the one who jumped the gun and came out blazing because I obviously hurt your feelings in a prior post (read back and you will see this to be true). Feeling the need to lower ones self to name calling only reflects poorly on you and it leads readers to believe you are the type of person who is only one step away from the lowest level of forum posting, challenging someone to a fist fight.
Now, as for your synopsis of my life (LMAO), sorry to disappoint mate. I was the kid who would stand in front of the bullied child and bullies were too afraid to touch me. I do have to admit though, I was seriously pissed at myself going to bed that evening. Told the wife all about the back and forth posts and I felt really good about the last one.....except for one thing.....I told her I misspelled "advice" but I figured you were too stupid to catch it anyway, Damn! Thanks KAT, I never feared BRUCE was going to ban either myself or ALTHUGZ. I think at the time he only had about one glove so I kind of figured he was a nobody like us (me and thugz). He did serve as a much needed break in the action which caused me to look at how far out of hand the posts were getting.
Sometimes it just takes an outside person to make you stop and think. I personally thought it was cool enough for him to take the time to interfere ;)
I'm sure at some point I'll cross swords with someone again and things will get heated, but the thing with Thugz and me has been laid to rest.
It's not like we were acting like LEGEND30 now is it? :lolhaha:

It's good that you got my point. I never implied any banning action. Even the Moderators can't ban. All I wanted was to make your verbal duel more meaningful and more intelligent.
