I'd rather him retire... He's battle worn... and decorated :D ;)Quote:

Diaz sounds like Leyland out of Dog the Bounty Hunter, even his home fans are booing him he needs to go back to Hawai and go get some ice smoking mother fuckers and send them back to the big house.

I was very impressed with last night's fight. Fantastic action from start to finish, and it was such a hard one to call, but I had wanted to see Diaz win, and though he might have edged it, but I wouldn't have begrudged Morales either if it was given to him. Good on Diaz though, he took all of Morales' best shot and keep plodding and plodding and plodding.
For me it was a BS judging again! :-\
I did see Morales wining by1 or 2 points
I had Morales winning too. But going by the recent trend in top fights I can imagine how it was scored for Diaz.Quote:

CC fro the round by round mate good work ;)
that seems to be the trend nowadays in big fights. i also had morales by at least 2 pts. that's why boxing is losing some of its fanbase to ufc.Quote:

I'm glad that it was a good fight, I really didn't expect it to be and while I haven't seen it, I'm glad Erik didn't get the decision. Diaz is an incredibly mediocre championship fighter and if Morales went tooth and nail with him, then he definitely doesn't belong in the ring with the other champions at 135. So I'm glad he got a good fight to send him off and this does nothing to take away from all the great years he's given us. Good on to Erik to retire and good for Diaz for putting on a good show.
Thanks for the RBR CC.
Really? I could have sporn I saw a big HBO sign. My point was that the emphasis is on creating the new star. Morales retiring with the win wasn't good for those involved. Diaz was always fighting on. I was pretty fucked off with the decision at the time anyway. Now I've had time to reflect and calm down...I'm still pretty fucked off.Quote:
