I've watched the robbery last night of Delvin Rodriguez. I hope they'd overturn the call on monday just like the NY commissioner stated.
Anyways, Teddy Atlas is picking MAB over Pac?..
He said It'll be a big upset coz Pac has been making a lot of money and not that hungry anymore. WTF ???
His other picks:
Cotto over Mosley
Kessler over Calzaghe
PBF over Hatton
because mab is too late. jmm survive pac got away with a draw, and em got a close u.d over a still raw pacman. can u honestly say pac was prime when he fought jmm and when he lost to em? he was a young sensation then, now his a prime veteran warrior.Quote:

mab had no answer against young pacman. now that pac is even better, and mab has gotten older. can u honestly say logic points to a mab win? we all know pac fans can get real extreme, but come on mab fans has got to admit "they must hope for a unfocus pac to show up come fight night, for mab to win" its just like the third with em, em fans were just hopeful but they knew pacs time has come and em has past.
plus why else has this rematch taken so long? mab knows pac is not the style for him. its just retiring time so its time to go for it all.
jmm is prolly the same, saving a pac match up for his retirement funds hahahahahaha
at least he got one right. lolQuote:

You say Im making a fool of myself? Because I think Barrera has a chance to beat Pac? How can Barrera win? Well Barrera needs to be the pro that he is. As an outsider looking on its clear that Pacs main weapon is his straight left. His right has improved but not enough to be the difference. Barrera needs to keep his guard up and circle much as Marquez did after the first round and just as Morales did in the first fight and for half the second fight. As late as it is Barrera must try to strengthen that right in oder to at least make Manny question being all Kamikaze. With careful countering he will steal rounds from Manny.
I know exactly what I am talking about and do not need to go and rewatch fights. Ive seem them all enough. Neither am I clutching at straws. I know Barrera is the underdog and is expected to lose by a majority. A nutthugger would not realise such a consequence.
What will watching Barrera: Pac 1 teach me again? Will it erase the manners in which Pac has arguably been beaten since? Barrera in a rematch wont get drawn in so quick.
Draw the tongue first before you judge who the fool is! ;)
Barrera looks down at Pacquiao’s punch

??? ::**
I believe it was Manny Pacquiao who knocked Barrera down twice, not Morales, Juarez, or JMM.
One other thing Pacstraightleft is how long does this bet last ??
You will suffer for one agonizing month. ;DQuote:

Barrera will be ready for this fight and maybe make it competitive for a while- he is much more skilled than Morales- but I don't think he will win. I pray I'm wrong.
A prime 1997 MAB would eat 2007 Pac? ???Quote:

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Junior Jones beat MAB twice in 97?
Everyone knows that its Pacs speed and accumulation that gets to his opponents. A Pac with slower hands wouldnt put fighters down as often.Quote:

Im sure he didnt train with these styles first time out. it will make a difference. Barrera is planning it all well.
Prime Pac vs Prime Barrera --- Pac had won already during their 2003 fight.Have you forgotten? The Barrera that Pac defeated was still at his prime during their last fight. He even had won a title against Juarez after he was defeated by Pac.Quote:

Boxers are still human. Tyson was clearly beginning to lose his sanity before his fight with Buster.
It's different also when your mind is willing but your body is weak.Tyson's body was willing but his mind is weak.
Barrera's mind is willing but his body may not be too strong to hold on. Even a prime and mentally prepared Barrera may have a difficulty countering the barrage of punches from the pacman.
One must admit that there will always be a greater person than yourself (from the desiderata). Barrera met that person in Pacman.
lets just wait and see but i bet marco wont last that long OR If manny would be too generous he might make the fight last long. Lets just pray for marco to be able to take the punishment. :lickish:
I side with barerra, above any other physical, mental or emotional attribute, barerra has his pride. This pride is obviously driving him to prepare intensely and i believe it will be the difference come fight night
i don't man. in this fight with pacman, he needs more than pride.he needs the agility of a young Barrera.Quote:

So what feelings must this situation inspire in Barerra? Anger? Inspiration? Sadness? lust for redemption? jealousy?
Putting myself in his situation probably all of the above.
And along with this mindset what does Barerra have left as regards his fighting repetoire?
Power, Intelligence, Expierience, work ethic and heart.
Combine the emotional attributes with the remaining physical armoury and the mind conjures images of a rugged veteran, battle scarred and defeated returning to the battlefield for one last stand against a fearsome adversary, for his last shot at glory. This is not only Barerras shot at putting to rest his personal demons but also his opportunity of bolstering his position in the upper hierarchy of Mexican boxing.
Man sorry for gettin all carried away but this is what makes boxing!
nice one. kinda like what morales felt just before the rubber match with pac. ;DQuote:

I agree, Pac applied that kinda style with Velasquez, Larios, and Solis.Quote:

I can safely say that Pac has the speed and power.

CC for you my friend . Everything you say makes perfect sense but some it seems are too blind to see it .
Well, you know what they say... "to see is to believe". And I believe I saw Barrera was down on his butt right after he got hit in the mouth with 1 straight left from Pac.Quote:

cc for the news KKisser. It seems like your from the Philippines too.
Barrera then is so focused. I'm beginning to be afraid for my sig/cc/sc bet with ICE COLD.
anyway, I'd stick with my man.Pacquaio still.
oo naman 'pre. ;)Quote:

zhubin,
that's what fans are for.
be cool man.
brucelee, i completely understand that fans will root hard for the favorite fighters. But some people go overboard to the point where they come across as fanatical...and like to instigate drama. I know Pac fans are passionate about their fighter...and there are many that don't go overboard and who post logically and respectfully. But fans like pacstraightleft not only go overboard...but they disrespect other fighters. I, as a fan of boxing, wouldn't go to a fighters website and start talking trash. That's just childish. People who do that...whether it's Barrera's site or Pac's site or any fighters site...are idiots.
okay, I understand you.
I have read Pacstraight's posts in marcoantoniobarrera.com and they are almost the same as his posts here. Problem with those posts is that it was not the proper place. The place is hostile to Pac fans.I completely understand the MAB fans. They were treated the same when they went to the Pacquiao site.
That's why I stick with Saddo. Here all is fair.
'Just playing with their games. They insult Pac, I insult MAB,.. plain and simple, if you still don't get it, then you're a moron.Quote:

If people post a bunch of nonsense and come across as blind jockers they are idiots. If you have Pac fans spewing non sense on Marco's website....they are idiots. If you have Barrera fans spewing garbage on Pac's website...they are idiots. Etc. But for YOU to go on Barrera's website, or for that matter THIS website, and try to instigate drama....that right there brings you down to that level of immaturity. You don't like Barrera...fine. You love Pac...great. Just try and post with some balance and don't let your dislike or like of a particular fighter(s) make you come across as a jocker or hater.Quote:

If you don't like my opinions about MAB, then don't read any of my posts.
Don't flatter yourself. I think Manny should be the one worried about stalkers with fans like you. What do you expect genius? When you ridicule Barrera...you are disrespecting and agitating his fans as well. It's ome thing to dislike a fighter, but you take it to another level.
