Re: MAB vs Morales: who deserves more praise?
Na i totally disagree. When a fighter nods/ shakes head/ winks at corner you know its his choice to quit. A submission of sorts.
My example would be Ray olivera agianst Hatton ;)
Definately NOT Castillo v Hatton ;D

no actually he had no choice, if he would of been able to get up do you think the fight would of turned out any different. eric had no choice he knew it thats why he made no effort. a fighting quiting is more like tyson on his stole, if you watch when the fight was done with and eric finally can get up, he almost falls back down but the ref hellps him.

;D Na seriously, i see the ref escorting Morales but all good refs do that. Dont know about the 'he almost falls back down' part though ;)
You know what, upon re-watching that fight (without focusing heavily on the fact that Morales was completely shot) if Morales had of held back in that fight, not being so wreckless... He might of conned Manny out of a win.

Morales was, is and always will be the same. Even up a weight against Diaz he went all out, attacking all night long.

Ya i have a saying for Him and Barrera it goes; Barrera was the fighter who loved to box but Morales was the boxer who loved a fight ;)
I havent seen the Diaz fight yet. Did Diaz deserve the win?

Let me interrupt your nice discussion with Hitmandonny by answering your question...... definitely Diaz did not deserve the win. Morales was robbed of that important fight.... the way I saw it. Watch it and you will agree with me.

Jim ur gettin a CC for that.
Well it was an incredibly close fight, Morales scored well, perhaps more than Diaz, but in return Morales was hurt more by Diaz. So although Morales did do enough to win, it was not a complete robbery.
The fight for me really just illustrated that Morales was past his best.

Re: MAB vs Morales: who deserves more praise?
this is an easy answer...ELLLL TERRIBLE!!!! the guy is a real warrior..he went away with guns blazing unlike barrera who fought not to get killed! He fought just to survive! ERIK IS THE MAN!!
Re: MAB vs Morales: who deserves more praise?
yes, much better to quit on all fours. Real fans want to see you die for them.
