You talking about that sociopath Zemaitis?
Id love to see him in Dolphins Aqua next season I know that, guy plays with hate in his heart

Re: College Football thread
I remember it was on the heels of all this Paterono needs to be fired talk, he went out and got Williams and then Williams convinced his best friend and number 2 rated prospect to go with him to Penn State yet I've never remembered the name. That might be him.
I think the next season they got that 10 win season with Michael Robinson at the helm. I never figured out who that guy was that might be him though I probably wouldn't recognize the name if I heard it.

Re: College Football thread
FSU vs Miami on the weekend schedule, my my my how the might have fallen. This use to be the game of the week everytime they played and sometimes game of the year, now no one even cares

Re: College Football thread
Looks like the Thursday Night ESPN curse strikes again. USF got upset by Pitt.

And as a Dolphins fan,you have no idea how much I hate Dave Wannstedt getting a win

Re: College Football thread
I like Mel Kiper but WTF is he on about saying USC should be number 1. I guess its a "they have the most first round draft picks so there obviously the best team" type of thing. But that's ridiculous, there would be no need to play the games if that's how it worked. Just scout the teams at summer practice, see who has the most "talent" and call them the N champs. They lost to stanford, etc. but hey they look real athletic.
Dude needs to get it together.

Re: College Football thread
Did he mean number 1 as in now?
Anyways, an actual Alabama fan came in to eat today, he said he was in town to watch a high school football game? Not Alabama fan, a guy from Alabama. I said good time to be a tide fan, he said son I've been wearing this hat for 40 years it's going to take a lot more then beating Clemson to get me excited. I wanted to say, uhh, you beat Georgia too you know? But I didn't.
-
Re: College Football thread
we have a horrible fan base, neurotic, constantly think the national media is after us, etc. I check out an Alabama fan board every once in a while, its pure comedy.
and yes he meant now.

Re: College Football thread
Alabama owns the first quarter, the numbers are ridiculous, still haven't given up a point.
-
Re: College Football thread
meh, a boring win. A win but nothing to get excited about.

I am so happy Mizzou lost, most overated team the last two years in CFB
-
Re: College Football thread
Handful of upsets today...
USC should go up to #4 or 5...
-
Re: College Football thread
I'm glad Mizzou lost too. I know its pretty effective but I'm getting sick of these spread offenses, especially the spread option stuff, the West Virginia stuff.
Texas-OU was fun.
And Florida's speed on offense is scary. I'd hate to play them in the SEC championship, they're fast enough on grass, hate to see them in a dome.
-
Re: College Football thread
Can't believe I forgot to mention how bad Auburn sucks
-
Re: College Football thread
Spread offenses are fine for Pac 10, ACC, Big East, seeing them in the power conferences is just weird. Auburn in the spread? That boggles the mind. I would think Tommy Tubberville would be rolling in his grave but he's still alive, and he's the coach. It's just weird I didn't know until the LSU game that they were in the spread.
Percy Harvin is the man.
Texas-OU was awesome, really awesome. A tiny bit anticlimactic but that was a great game maybe the best I've seen this year college or otherwise.
Cal has Arizona, Best might be back which is absolutely crazy if true. I thought it was a season ender I mean it was brutal.

Vereen has been great when it's time to spell Best, Cal has a great backfield and this is after Montgomery transferred out (where is he now), Tedford is one of the best recruiters in the land, too bad he does not have the same coaching skills

PENN STATE

Re: College Football thread
I hate when teams like Hawiaa, Boise St, BYU, etc make the BCS. I know that they should have as much rights as the next team but usually a good team gets screwed out of going to a major bowl because of that. Their schedules are alot softer than the major bowl conferences

Apparently Utah (UTAH ) got a number one vote from somebody in one of the polls, the Harris poll or something like that. I am confused.

Santa Clause has given us a early gift. TCU is up by 25 on BYU and it's the start of the 4th quarter. I am glad we don't have to see these bums play in the BCS this year, cheers to TCU

Re: College Football thread
But Boise State beat Oklahoma and I think it was Pitt that Utah beat, big schools, especially Oklahoma. The best teams should be playing imo, if you go undefeated I think you should probably fit somewhere into that top 8 especially if no team has only 1 loss.
-
Re: College Football thread
It's time for Jeff Tedford to pack his bags
-
Re: College Football thread
Just saw this now...
Referee is claiming it was accidental, it just happened this weekend.
LSU vs. South Carolina.
The QB is Stephen Garcia whos a shit head IMO and wont go anywhere after College especially with his shitty life style.

Penn St Vs Ohio St this weekend, great game because if Penn St wins this they have a great chance of playing in the national championship game

Re: College Football thread
Number 1 in both polls
Bit scared of Florida to be honest. I see us beating most everybody else but they will be tough.
-
Re: College Football thread
I cant believe Texas Tech beat UT it was luck to me they better not be #1 i know that
-
Re: College Football thread
I think that Tech will lose to Oklahoma
-
Re: College Football thread
Julio Jones is the man. The man.
Top five wide receiver already.
I don't think were the best team in the country though. Not sure who is, maybe Florida. I haven't seen USC play since Oregon State, they are just never on here. Their offense is a bit iffy IMO.
Have a USC friend who's such a whiner, its hilarious. Just bitches and moans, oh were the best team, oh we look so masculine and pretty in our outfits. We should be number 1, it doesn't matter who we beat and who we lose to.
Stop fucking losing to average to crappy Pac 10 teams. ;D Its about that simple.

Re: College Football thread
I have around two hours to reach ten thousand posts.
-
Re: College Football thread
I could have just edited that in to my first post but it kind of defeats the fucking purpose.

#1 YAY those bastards lost
#2 PSU had better be glad they lost to Iowa because Bama, Texas Tech, Texas, Florida, UGA, or even USC would just demolish them. The Big Ten is slow and built on defense which is built on stopping slow offenses.
ECU hopefully can keep winning, So. Miss, UAB, and UTEP...not our favorite schools to play
-
Re: College Football thread
I don't really have anything against Penn State but its good that the BCS will not be tainted by the inclusion of any school from that 1-AA conference.
