Re: anyone bought tickets for Khan Barrera yet?
I really don't want to see Amir Khan beat one of the great Mexican fighters. Khan doesn't even belong in the same postcode as a prime Barrera, but it won't be a prime Barrera who gets in the ring with him.
It turns out Barrera didn't own equity in GBP, he only owned part of the business for as long as he was contracted to them. If GBP still thought Barrera had it in him to compete at the top level he'd still be part of their outfit but they got rid of him. If Khan can take his punch he'll beat him unfortunately.
Re: anyone bought tickets for Khan Barrera yet?
If Khan carnt get passed Barrera at this stage in his career he will never become a world champion imo.As for Khan taking Barrera's shot he never was a big hitter down in the lower weights and he isnt as sharp as he used to, so if Barrera stops him he should stick to fighting at the domestic scene.
If Barrera was in his prime there would be only 1 winner but saddly he isnt.

My first instinct was to say not to worry because if that happens I will kill Khan, however, upon reflection it will only servce to turn Khan in a martyr 'he could have been an all time great:rolleyes:', better to let him live and get ktfo repeatedly. That's the highlight I want to see.

In 12 months time, you'll be able to check it out on the official Sports Network "Khan's great sparkings" DVD. Or even enjoy the super slo-mo's of him getting KO'd in super-HD blue ray.
