Pascal rallying late in the rounds and stealing them

For me Pascal is world class as he proved against Carl Froch, the world's greatest supermiddle in giving him a tough fight.
Hopefully a great performance by Pascal here will see Froch go into the Ring Top 10 p4p if they continue to work to their new Nonito/Darchinyan formulae :)
Fraud ain't even top 20 p4p

Nope but after Pascal wins this he'll go up at least 5 or 6 places seeing as the Ring now credit past opponent's future wins onto a fighters resume.
Froch will be knocking on the door if Pascal wins this

Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Damn this is a sleeper fight, you never know when your gonna get a good one. :p

Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Obviously Diaconu's best round.
I still think he needs at least a 10-8 round, on my card he needs more.
I was rooting for Paschal to win till Bilbo started going on about Froch and Donaire. Go Diaconu!
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Bute's reactions outside the ring are cracking me up.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
There weeee go.Given the 10,11 to Diaconu but he needs to forget the past 11 rounds and go all out for it.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
That has to be broken.Jeezus
Awesome fight.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Damn good fight, that mouse looks about ready to pop, Cut Me Mick, cut me!
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
WAR!
Great fight.
117-110 Paschal. Can't see it any closer than 115-112.
Diaconu closed strong? Paschal dominated the final round.

Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Does Adrian have no sense of what urgency is?
Marlon Wright lets Pascal push, elbow, hit behind the head and doesn't say sh#t to him.
Still, Pascal win that fight and Adrian needs to stop leading with his head. Bye bye belt.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
If Pascal loses, thats some bullshit.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
exciting fight right through. Nice pickup fight by versus

I think the body work got to him, in the late rounds he shouldnt be stopping and waving Pascal to come and fight, too late to do that Pascal didnt have to do shit at that point but cruise.

Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
good decision. Pascal is more of a fighter than I ever thought he would be.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Good scores, Diaconu just didnt press enough, and let Pascal dictate the pace.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Pascal deserved the decision. Diaconu just wasn't busy or fast enough. One of those fights that would have been interesting over 15 rounds.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Frigging chanting monks in the arena ???
Right guy got it.Damn good fight.

Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Grewat win for Pascal, Froch must be top 10 p4p now imo.
Only a year ago JT Rock resigned from the debating comp we had becuase he had to argue that Diaconu was not the greatest new talent at light heavyweight. He said it was an impossible argument as Diaconue was clearly the best talent in the world at 175 and there was no question about it,
Well Pascal has dethroned him, and he him himself was beaten by the British legend in the making, Carl 'The Cobra' Froch.
Seeing how superbly even a ruined Pascal performed against top competition you have to now say Froch has crept into the top 10 p4p with back to wins against such steller, dangerous, elite opposition as Pascal and Taylor.
Great stuff.

Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
I thought when he was a prospect that Paschal was all style and not much substance but he's got heart and he's pretty tough, given us two very good fights in a row.

To be honest, when I first saw him on some espn card I wasnt impressed at all, but he is exciting to watch. He keeps his hands too low for me, he's just asking for knockout.

So where exactly in the p4p top 10 would you rank Fraud? And over wish fighters currently in the top 10?

He does that way too much. It wasn't so bad for him here because Diaconu has no real speed. But if you time him when he is like that he will get caught again and again.

Yep; Pascal did a good job. TBH I thought Diaconu would gas really bad, he was known to do it; and especially like you pointed out the body work got to him, but I was surprised Diaconu was active at all the last few rounds and Pascal knocking him out wouldn't have shocked me in the final minutes.

-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
It's great when Atlas goes into monologue mode! ;D
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Andrade came into the ring wearing Mexican style clothing chasing a little kid dressed in a chicken costume around the ring.
And is wearing shoes that are made to look like they aren't tied up like people used to wear shoes.
LOL.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
Andrade just throwing wild bombs now.

Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
How does college baseball get priority over boxing? They are using metal bats for fucks sake.
-
Re: Very good Friday night for boxing
I don't know much about Beltran. Meza-Clay is an exciting watch IMO.
