Should Jesus Soto Karass 24-3 (16) enter the pool at 147? He has never been stopped & he hasn't lost since '05.
I vote no
Yes. I'm actually surprised he wasn't already there
I vote no
This pool is absolutley packed. But if A Witter and Ngoudjo stands off 2 losses a piece, all action Soto Karass wont hurt.Does he have any fights planned??
Jesus Soto Karass enters the pool at Welter. By a vote of 4-2.

Should Urbano Antillon (currently number 7 at 130 & in the pool at 135) remain ranked at 130? His last fight at 130 was on Sep 5th ’08. His 3 most recent fights have been at lightweight, the last of which was the KO loss to Miguel Acosta.
So does he remain ranked & in the pool at 135, only be in the pool at 135 or in the pool at both 130 & 135?
I vote he remains in the pool at 135 only, as I believe his days at Jr. Light are well behind him
Leave him in the pool at 135, he won't be fighting at 130 anymore, I can almost guarantee it.
Urbano Antillon is only in the pool at 135 by a vote of 6 - 0

Should Joel Casamayor (currently #3 at 135) remain ranked or be removed to the pool? He hasn’t fought since 13 Sep 13th ’08.
I vote he is moved to the pool
I vote he remains ranked for now.. maybe give him until the end of october to announce any plans for a fight, if not.. we can drop him.
For now though, why not drop him down a few places? Since some of the people below him have been more active, therefore deserve to be higher.
put him in the pool
I say give him to the end of the year. He was set to fight, but pulled out cuz of a back injury.
I vote to the pool.Credentials intact but one year inactive speaks, besides that pool is over flowing.
boot him, save us some time. his done anyway he wont be going nowhere but down.
Joel Casamayor is moved to the pool by a vote of 6 - 3
Should Vincente Escobedo remain in the pool at 135?
I think he should be removed, he put in a good effort but should have to work his way back in
Vincente Escobedo is removed from the pool by a vote of 3 - 2
I've just realized that the Jesus Chavez-David Diaz fight is tonight.
I think considering there are 2 vacancies at LW, we should consider this fight for the #9 spot.
Obviously by the time many see this, the fight might well be over, but I thought I'd put it out there nonetheless & we can vote on it after as the winner going in
I voted no, because Chavez is done as a competitive fighter.
Yeah I have to agree with Sheep.I thought Chavez had actually retired after the TKO at the hands of Katsidis.Pool is loaded with many guys with futures in front of them.
Not sure about anything with Valero. When he's not having mass brawls with Venezuelan police, waving guns about & failing MRI scans, he's lately taken to apparently beating up his sister. He appears to be having a bit of a 'Pavlik moment' right now :-\
We do need to start filling up some of these gaps soon though. One vacancy per division is fine, but 2 & it gets to look a bit poor.
I said No
David Diaz/ Jesus Chavez was not for the vacant #9 position by a vote of 6 - 1
I was thinking about this one after the thread we had last week regarding Kirkland. Seeing as it now looks like he will see out his ban & will probably be removed anyway, I thought we should open it up for new fighters.
I also feel that considering the severity of what he did (trying to cheat to win) that at the least he should have to fight his way back into our rankings once his ban is over, rather than simply sitting comfortably in the same spot.
I think we should move him to the pool
Hahaha it looks like a close vote until you see that managers have only made one choice.
remove him completely
I vote the year mark then to the pool.
Antonio Margarito is moved to the pool by a vote of 3 - 2 -1
This division has a ridiculously packed pool, so I feel we should actually slip some of these guys into the vacant spots.
Anyway take your pick. I've excluded Julio Diaz because he's lost his last 2 & Joel Casamayor because his next fight is scheduled at 140.

My pick is the DeMarco/ Alfaro winner. With bouts like Funeka/ Guzman & Soto/ Vasquez coming up it might be a full 10 soon anyway...
Antonio DeMarco/ Jose Alfaro will be for the vacant #9 position by a vote of 5 - 0
I think we need to fill out some pools a bit more. I nominate Alvarez here, because I think he's shown good rise in opposition & will step up class quicker than a lot of the other guys here due to his activity levels.
Guys like Kirpa & Aydin are plagued by long bouts of inactivity between fights, so I feel it's our best shots at keeping the pool moving.
