Dropping Takefumi Sakata from Flyweight rankings
Why he should be removed
-Last fight was at Super Flyweight
-Next fight is set for Super Flyweight
-Has personally stated he's moving up
Why he should stay
-Hasn't yet hit the 1 year of inactivity as a Flyweight
Based on his comments, I say he needs to be removed. The move is pretty much official. At his age, I can't see him dropping back down in weight.

Should Rodel Mayol remain in the pool at 108?
Should Rodel Mayol remain in the pool at 108 after losing another technical decision to Ivan Calderon (currently #1)?
I think he should

How far should Manuel Vargas drop?

How far should Manuel Vargas (currently #10) drop after losing a controversial split decision to 4th ranked Donnie Nietes?
Remain 10th
Straight to the pool
I vote he remains ranked at 10th as I thought Vargas won the fight!

Should Cristian Mijares remain rated at 115?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...rFlyweight.jpg
Should Cristian Mijares (currently #4) remain rated? His last fight at 115 was the KO loss to Darchinyan on the 1st of November ’08 & his last 2 fights have been loses at Bantam.
Should he remain rated?
Should he be removed to the pool at 118?
Removed altogether?
I vote he is removed altogether after now suffering 3 losses in a row
-
Re: Dropping Takefumi Sakata from Flyweight rankings
I voted to remove him but I think it should be to the pool at 115, there was no option for pool at 112 or 115 but my vote would be for the Jr. Bantam pool
-
Re: Should Rodel Mayol remain in the pool at 108?
I said yes....His last fight a TD and before a Draw with Calderon.....Cant punish a guy for that

Re: How far should Manuel Vargas drop?
A fighter shouldn't lose his spot because of a robbery
-
Re: Should Cristian Mijares remain rated at 115?
3 strikes and you're out. A case could be made for his first fight with Cermano which was close, but he's not gonna get any meaningful fights after this. Drop him altogether.
-
Re: How far should Manuel Vargas drop?
Following the rules, I say leave him where he's at. But Jesus Christ, he should really be sitting on the 4 spot. That shiit was a disgrace

Re: Should Cristian Mijares remain rated at 115?
With his three consecutive losses and retirement I say remove him altogether.

The Arce situation
He lost again on Tuesday. I saw the fight. He was outclassed. Nongqayi is a pretty good fighter. But that's still 2 out of 3 fights for Arce. I think he's shot. If it was up to me, i'll drop him completely. But it's not. So I say we drop him 3 spots
-
Re: The Arce situation
I say 3 & I agree Arce is done. I had Nongqayi in my 1st initial ratings... he a pretty good fighter & was too good for this version of Arce!
-
Re: The Arce situation
Have to say 3 as well.Slowed noticeably.Nonggayi a pleasant surprise

Should Roberto Vasquez remain rated at 118?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ntamweight.jpg
Roberto Vasquez (number 9 at 118 & in the pool at 115) hasn’t fought at Bantam since Sep 18th ’08. His most recent fight was a loss to Hugo Cazares at 115 & next fight is also scheduled for the Jr. Bantam limit.
Should he remain ranked at 118 or be removed to the pool. Or just remain in the pool at 115?
I think he should just be in the pool at 115
-
Should Vusi Malinga remain in the pool at 118?
Should Vusi Malinga remain in the pool at 118? He has been in the pool for 6 months & hasn’t fought in that time. His last fight was a 1st round KO loss to Hasegawa in March ’09 & his last win was over a year ago in June ’08.
I vote he should be removed.
-
Re: Should Vusi Malinga remain in the pool at 118?
Leave him for now. He's set to fight this month
-
Re: Should Vusi Malinga remain in the pool at 118?
I meant to vote to keep him in.

How should we rate Drian Francisco?
How should we rate Drian Francisco after he stopped Roberto Vasquez (currently in the pool at 115) in 10 rounds in a Jr. Bantamweight fight?
Drian Francisco
Should he earn the vacant #10 position?

Re: How should we rate Drian Francisco?
I always considered Vasquez a good fighter. Francisco destroyed him. He earns the 10th spot
-
Re: How should we rate Michael Domingo?
Navarro has always been just an average fighter
-
Re: Should Jose Navarro remain in the pool at 115?

Vasquez has only lost 2 in a row, being in the pool they still need to be voted out. Navarro has been inactive as well having not fought since Feb '08

Your right but he fought top comp, plus Domingo has scored KO's over Vorapin & now Navarro since Sep '08 at 118. I think pool listing is fair...
