Thank you!
I didn't use the image option, and I didn't know it would show a thumbnail if I just posted a link. I didn't want it to show either.
The original page I posted was taken down unfortunately.

yeah it was the forum auto embeding it ;)
Here's a really good article that gives a lot more background details about their marriage.
Just reading her comments pisses me off, and I hope the family keeps pressing for answers.
The article is 5 pages long, so make sure that you read all of it.
Family & friends in heated battle to prove Arturo Gatti did not kill himself
That lawyer in Receife has got it right... sure he said "To think she would kill her husband just for money, we're talking fiction here!"...but he also said "We're in the third world, but not that much different from you." yeah exactly right pal, and people get killed here in the United States for far less than what she stood to gain!!!
They should go ahead and extridite her, her story is bogus, her motive is solid, and she has 0 alibi!!! "When I saw Arturo on the floor at 6 A.M. I thought he was drunk, I was still mad at him".....oh really?!?! Mad enough to not notice blood or that he was laying down so awkwardly that had he been as drunk as described that he could have died from suffocation on his own vomit...HAD he been that drunk of course. And then she says she "Went into shock"...she went into shock when the husband she was pissed off at turned out to be dead, I'm sure it was a shock like winning the lottery
...I've never seen any drunks fall asleep/pass out in that position. And something is on the floor, maybe it's wine, but either way it's suspicious
He is basically in the recovery position. He looks like he is sleeping. What is suspect about that?
I've seen millions of drunks lying in all sorts of positions. There is nothing remotely dodgy about the way he is lying unless there is blood all over the shop.
If those stains are blood surely someone would have mentioned them by now? That's what I don't get. Her story is complete shit IF those stains are blood.
Here's a letter the wife just wrote to a newspaper.
Amanda Rodrigues's side of the Arturo Gatti story
Jesus, it's going to be awhile before the 2nd results come out.
The wife is now thinking of suing the Brazilian police, and is now trying to claim that she wasn't a stripper.
Supporters of Arturo Gatti frustrated by delay in second autopsy; Amanda Rodrigues goes on offensive
What bothers me about this entire ordeal is that the wife is now suing the Brazilian gov. for $1m...the same amount she lost on the life insurance when Mr. Gatti's death was ruled as a "suicide" in Brazil. Then she came out of jail smiling ear-to-ear, with body-language indicating she was hiding something. She apparently had someone assist with her writing her "story" for the paper, as no one with an attorney would submit anything in writing without editing. She may have been provided with a "story", then instructed to write it in her own words. Now if she openly stated she was suing for the $1m and was donating it to charity, my eyebrows would be less raised. Brazil is notorious for "cash-for-freedom". Am concerned about the wife's claims regarding Mr Gatti's family allegedly not participating in his life, but want the money. But having dealt with family after the death of a relative...they come out of the woodwork if they believe they can gain a buck. Have seen people exhibit zero "symptoms" of suicidal ideations before acting on the deed. Perhaps someone can educate me, but I understood Catholics who commit suicide cannot have a mass, or is that merely a mass in a church? The entire situation stinks and all funds should be held until the facts are proven.
And now she's suing the state of Pernambucano for her wrongful arrest where they brutally obeyed all logic & evidence, rather than her assertion that it was a mystery killer in the night.
