133 first week, 99 second week, 151 so far this week. And all with shitty QB play.
Though this week was a bit of an anomaly. Pretty much all my guys lit it up and all of C-Lo's guys had awful weeks.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I'm getting really sick of the Buffalo Bills running back situation. Killer picks up Fred Jackson; Suddenly Jackson is a worthless piece of shit and Spiller shows us what he'd do for a Klondike Bar.
Too bad VD didn't have himself a Mike Vick type QB this weekend.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
How about my ENTIRE team under-performing ALL season long!! Including my bench, I only have 77 points this week?! I still have Greg Jennings and Clay Matthews to play but good Lord my team is blowing it!
Shaub, Rice, DeAngelo Williams, Jennings, Colston, Witten, Nicks. Aside from Nicks and Shaub having ONE great week, all of those guys have been a disappointment. Aside from Jennings, Jets defense, Shiancoe, and Cutler, I'm just about ready to start trading guys left and right.
(Jets are whooping ass so I can't be all that mad at football)

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
As long as my Green Bay second string running back doesn't have a disaster tonight, should be in for my first win. As for trading, I'm open to offers on anyone except Brady, and a decent running back would be very nice if anyone has them going spare.

I'll look at your team and I come back to you after, I might have one or two decent running back possibly willing to trade if I can find something I want and that is not indispensable to you.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Well Nameless somebody's "0" has to go and since I don't have one it's gotta be you. ;D
Johnson's gonna get me over 50 points today*
*actual results may vary

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
It seems to early for a bye but I don't have Peterson today. Don't think it matters as i'm playing Team Kevin Kolb at QB. 4-0 fuckers.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I think my lack of running back quality will probably do for me again this week. What odds the saints decide that today's the day they really need to prove that their running game really is the business!

Forget that :D The team's playing faitly well so far, seems like Tomlinson is a bless in disguise as he normally benches, I put him in play as Pierre thomas is injured and tadam, 28 points :D 4-0 for the win and enough points to snatch Oumafan's #1 rank via the points!

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
My team has to slow down at some point. Last year I was winning but I was winning like 73-68 or something. This year I'm averaging like 140 points a week.
Today's been kind of boring cause Team Frazier isn't really playing. He's starting Kevin Kolb, Knowshon Moreno and Ryan Grant. Who are all hurt. So its like 104-30 and its going to get worse. But next week I play Nameless and we could both be 4-0.

Yeah, sounds like I am winning this week too, next week, if none of us has major players injured could possible be a cornerstone game for our division as neither of our team at the moment seems to slow down.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Whilst my team is having a bit of a 'mare (with the exception of TO, benched this week after a dreadful start to the season), I guess my consolation is - at least I don't have Jay Cutler in my side. 9 sacks in the first half, four more for the NFL record!
-

I'm down 6 points this week and I started Cutler who has been consistent all season until last night. He posted up a blistering -12 for me. I need Aaron Hernandez and Pat Chung to outscore the Pats kicker by 7 in order to pull off a win. This would be an easy win if I just played it safe and gone with Shaub.
I thought the Giants were vulnerable...STUPID!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I probably need Brady to throw 450 yards and 4 touchdowns tonight if I'm going to win.... why would I take TO out and replace him with a third/fourth string NO running back? Whyyyyy?
Ah well, there's always next week.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
After all the BS Cutler got me in, Pat Chung's blocked field goal, blocked punt, and pick 6 rallied my team to a one-point victory!!

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
QB situation is just straight garbage. Eli Manning is lucky he don't live next to me. I swear I would bust his windows for his recent play. If you can call that playing. I have no confidence in my backup Vince Young. Situation is so bad I've decided to drop Young and replace him with 70 year old Brett Farve. Farve will get the start. :vd: Maybe Moss can help him out

Again, you could have had Vick. lol
The week after you drop someone he'll be running into the endzone with a football under each arm.

You're still the defending champ, friend.
Do you play Fraizer twice? That should help.

Even if I had Vick, I would still be searching for a QB this week

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
As much as I hate him I thought about picking Favre back up this week (because of Moss) but VD beat me to it. Last year I was much more into it as far as checking the waiver wire.

Not sure if I play Frazier twice, but I barely beat him the first time.

I doubt the drama about his sexting that reporter when he played for the Jets is going to help. Apparently he sent her a picture of his inflated penis anmd left inviting messages on her phone.

And I expect a very very tough match, OUma's boys aren't to me taken lightly, as I have 5 players BYE, I don't exactly have much margin to get some injured in the meantime but those I have on the field should have enough talent to give me some good chances.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Picked up Vick! Real excited about this one! Having to choose between Shaub and Cutler have been driving me crazy. With the exception of one week, I always start the wrong QB. When Vick is back in action, it'll be a no brainer for me. Anyone looking for a QB? I'm looking for a WR or RB...
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Prediction from ESPN's bot: East Coast Pirates: 117, Team Boucher: 113. Talk about a very very close match on paper, will be a tough match if everyone presents itself for the big 4-0/4-0 bash.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
The only problem I have with this team is depth. My three running backs are fucking destroyers, Arian Foster is rated first in the league in points and Rashard Mendenhall and Adrian Peterson are tied for second. But when I get a bye I don't know who to play as my flex player. Today its either Mario Manningham or Derrick Mason, probably Manningham.
My dedication has been seriously lacking this year though. I bring up the league page this morning and find out that Vick was on waivers :p

Predications changed: Team Boucher: 115 E.C.P: 113
Will be a VERY hard game, Manning must nail a couple of TD otherwise against your RB grinding machine I will suffer.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
The Jets could shut Adrian Peterson down. Hopefully he sneaks a touchdown. Antonio Gates has been a fucking beast this year. Larry Fitzgerald has been a bit meh. No QB.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Slow start for both teams. Arian Foster has 3 yards, if he doesn't do something I could be screwed since Peterson has a tough matchup. My kicker's carrying me ;D
not sure why I played Manningham. That's two Giants receivers, odds aren't great that both will do well.

Well, if it can make you feel better, Manning has a ludicrous 4 points at the first half...

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Did I mention I hate Hakeem Nicks?
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I'm checking on my score so far, and boy am I lucky! BG has Matt Forte on the bench, with 31pts so far.....the team on the field has 27.
I did the same thing with TO last week. Fingers crossed I can push on from that and get my second win of the season.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Matt Ryan is trying to get a Cutler score this week...... Damn I can't get my team going in this league.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I hate Hakeem Nicks too
This Giants-Texans game has been a disaster. I have two points from three players. And its the worst possible scoreline. The Texans are down big so Arian Foster won't get that many carries probably and vice versa I have two WR's on the Giants but they'll probably try to run the ball more since they're up big and anyway when they do pass all they do is throw it to Nicks.
Dreadful day so far.
