Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
mate, it seems to me that its you that cant handle the situation
im not really sure why youve got yourself so worked up about it
-
For over 2 years this charlatan of a fighter has been talking a lot while doing very little and yet he wants to be considered a champion on the same level as Wladimir Klitschko? Its blasphemy sir! Chicken Little is a fraud, a monstrous creation of a rabid sports media that has been corrupted and twisted so that they are now confusing celebrity status with skill. He talks a big game but thus far has NEVER backed up his words with any action, and even sadder than that is that his own fans (what few that are left) allow him to continue this charade.

I'd believe you if you were damning the klits for fighting cack oppo but you never do and you believe anything they say. That's where your argument falls down. I'm happy to admit Haye is boxing a hit opponant that doesn 't deserve a shot. But the klits have been doing that for years and you can't handle that.

what bullshit lyle?
So far I have stated the following.
Haye vs audley is a mis match and Harrison doesn't deserve a shot.
Wlad would probably beat haye, although after watching wlads performance against peter I think Haye will give wlad plenty of problems and would stand a chance.
The klits have been fighting shite opponants for years.
Those are the only four points I have made with the side plot of you being a hypocritical, biased hater of british boxers. Not to mention you are a Klitschko sycophant.
Your more than welcome to hold on to this post for future reference.
-
#1 I don't hate all British boxers
#2 Wlad's opponents that you call "shit" ( your list: Moli, Chambers, Thompson)...Moli was a tune up fight after the loss to Sanders. Chambers earned his shot by beating Dimitrenko and Sam Peter and he was a MANDATORY (can't avoid those), Thompson had won a ton of fights vs not so impressive competition but IMO he's a very dangerous fighter he's 6'6 240+ and a southpaw with great defense and a great chin, he'd give anybody in the division a hard fight because he wins rounds plus he too was a MANDATORY...as was Sam Peter although Povetkin had been #1 Contender for 2 years and no doubt Wlad would beat him too.
#3 The WBA is the junior circuit of heavyweight boxing, when was the last relevant heavyweight fight for that title?
If Tony Thompson ever fought Chicken Little I'd place money on Tony to win, he'd be a huge underdog but I'd risk it.
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
im gonna say one more thing and then im not opening this thread again
haye v klit, whos fault it is it hasnt happened? i dunno
but haye is good for the heavyweight division, with the klits totally in charge it isnt very exciting
i think either klit would probably beat haye and if that is the case, if they had have fought already, what would we be talking about now and where would the HW division be?

lyle you can big up those bums all you like but I stick to my 4 key points.
And the fact you'd put money on thompson to beat haye (a guy you'd no doubt trash as haye fighting another bum if the fight was made) shows how biased and twisted your view of heavyweight boxing is. Either that or your just an idiot who wants to throw money away.
-
No actually I think its really difficult for Tony to get good fights because of how good he is at what he does. I'd be VERY impressed if Chicken Little ever fought Thompson. I think in regards to winning rounds and not power punching Thompson is a huge threat to anyone even Vitali
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
theres always an excuse for an american ain't there lyle.
no vitali would flatten him, easily.

That's sad HF, its not because he's American either. I don't like Thompson's style, I think he's boring, but he is very good at what he does.
Wladimir had trouble with Thompson's defense and given the WBA title holder's style he would have HUGE trouble with Thompson. But its a moot point because I highly doubt Thompson has another meaningful fight due to his size, his style, and the fact that he's not in exciting fights. Thompson could be from the Moon and I'd still tell you he's a tough fighter to beat.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Considering where Haye insists he belongs and states he wants to be the fight is a contradiction and an everything to lose affair for him. If Audley pulls off an "upset" the Haye will be back at square 1,can forget about Wlad and Audley will go onto lose. A cut, styles clash and some shakey moments, draw, injury etc are hash marks for Haye and on the other end if he sparks Audley quickly....well great for the local market but on a world scale big fooking deal really ??? Could all be very anti climactic and a big step backwards.

he will earn fifteen million pounds

..... But if he fucks it will lose more than £100m in future earnings!

Hahaha...I tried to make that argument but they just won't have any of it.
Audley is still allowed to throw punches and even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
They must keep that stat in the record books right next to level of opposition.
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
HAYE by a stoppage mid-distance
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Not really interested in this fight, but I think Haye will blow Harrison away!!!
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Even if Haye does lose (he won't) I still reckon Wlad would want to fight him as he seems to have taken a lot of the stuff Haye has said pretty personally. He just wants to fuck him up. ;D

It won't be as much as that.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
I had a letter published in this weeks Boxing News. I sent this in:
Quote:
Dear Editor,
This is my first time writing in to the mag but after seeing the press conference for Haye/Audley, I felt I had to.
Like everyone else, I was shocked and appalled at the thought of David Haye fighting Audley Harrison. The change of potential opponent from Wladimir/Vitali to 'A-Force' was, to be honest, laughable. However, after seeing their exchanges as the fight was announced, I'm actually quite looking forward to it. The trash talking will be something special, as both excel at it and the hype surrounding it can only be good for boxing in Britiain. I still think the fight is a total joke when you compare to who Haye SHOULD be fighting but, it is what it is, and, let's be realistic here, a comedy KO is guaranteed and we WILL be entertained.
Either Haye does what the majority of us have wanted to do for years - knocks Audley on his backside for one last time - or Audley Harrison lands a sweet left and causes one of the biggest upsets in British boxing history. I can't even begin to imagine the scenes in the ring if 'A-Force' manages to do that. I think they would be worth the PPV fee, alone.
In all probability, Haye wins this fight within three rounds but, as long as Haye DOES fight a Klit after this, the comedy value will make the K2 no show/delay a bit easier to swallow. If he doesn't, however, he will have lost any respect left people have for him.
Yours sincerely,
Lee .....,
They published all of this - except the bit in bold which, as it happens, is the most important part.
Censorship at it's worse. I am quite pissed off tbh as they have made me out to be a Haye fan and notice how they leave the bit in "if they fight a klit after this...it will be easier to follow". My first time writing into the mag - and they cut bits out of it. I am sure they only done it because Haye is sometimes a guest columnist.
That is all.

What a bunch of wankers!
There was absolutely nothing wrong with what you were saying there and on the whole it was a balanced letter. They were bang out of order in cutting it like that. If they had such issues then they should have just not bothered printing it.
Good on you for going to the effort of writing in though and even better job on letting us know what a bunch of mini Hitlers they are.

I was tempted to send them another email asking them why they felt the need to cut my letter but didn't wanna be seen as a nuisance. ;D

Pretty sure there is a re match clause in there if Harrison was to do the un thinkable.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
I never used to be a fan of Audley Harrison but, since this fight has been announced, he is certainly grown on me. Some of his trash talking has been brilliant. Check this out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG-YMvWkjaY
"Everyone around you wants to see you get beaten David Haye - your missus, your family...and I'm gonna do them all a favour by beating you up".
"Audley, Audley, Audley money..."
"I don't kiss no dogs" - when facing his pet dog.
Absolute crank. ;D
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Harrison will lose within 3or4 rounds without a doubt.Infact he'll get totally smashed up and hopefully really retire FOR GOOD!!!
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
audley seems be winding haye up a bit, haye seems a bit upset in his interviews where audley has kept his cool
you never know, i think it might just happen

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Could someone please tell Audley that fried Plantain is NOT strength food.

Well that's a bit extreme.....I mean why on Earth would Audley agree to this? How many times must he fight the guy and beat him to be able to go off and defend the title vs someone else???
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
u know wot the british media have got it all wrong!
audley is the good guy & haye is the bad guy really!
haye came to heavyweights for one reason only to clear up the divison, the lying bstard
come on harrison do him;D
-
Don't know if I want Chicken Little to get KO'd, but I'd like for Audley to drop him just once or at least wobble him a bit.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Im waiting for odds on a double of Harrison beating Haye then winning sports personality.;D;)
When he does knockout Haye, by fuuck will everyone know about it from Audleys own mouth. His win will be fresh in everyones minds when it comes to voting to the sports personality:cool:
