Re: Post a pic of your local
Question for the UK/Europe crowd,
I got a good friend that is always looking for business investments. Everytime we drink beer together he tries to convince me to get out of the Army and open ethier a saloon style bar similar to the ones I posted or a really over the top Texas BBQ joint either in the UK or in Europe. Basically he is a money guy and needs someone with experience running bar/restaurant establishments, which I did previously. He is convinced these type of places would make a killing. You guys think these types of places would be popular? I'm not going to partner with him anyway just curious if there really is a market for this style of bar/restaurant.

I've always thought a USA style piano bar would work well too. (anyone been to the piano bar in New York, New York in Las Vegas? Love that place)
yes I am convinced it would too (massively convinced !) - but again its a question of location and the right clientelle
0james I think exactly the same thing about piano bars. Two years ago I went on a cruise and every night we ended up in the piano bar till late pissed and singing along round the piano player. Brilliant night.
I never even heard of a piano bar over here let alone been in one - theres a bar in the Dorchester where I seen a guy just play background piano music but thats shite

Yeah, well spring tides and a westerly will get you wet;D
They close the whole road on bank holidays and have bands play on the balcony of the hotel next door;)
