wlad wins
they do shake hands what a happy story for wlad
Too small, shit tactics haye.
No disrespect. KLITSCHKO IS THE MAN
wlad is simply too good for everyone, boring but effective
David Haye fought crap what a disappointment, he went to the floor like 12 times. The ref got so tired of it he called one of them a knockdown. Wladimir Klitschko won every round David Haye should be ashamed of himself considering all the talk.
Haye was more boring IMO. 3 boring fights now with this, Valuev and Harrison. Bringing excitement to the division? The guy is a con artist. Never even commited in this fight. Was in cruise control and losing every round. I hope we keeps his promise and retires, because he brings nothing to the division. It was all mouth and hype.
haye's excuse that he had a bad right leg
haye had a broken toe? hmm
Haye did better than i expected and i thought he won a couple of rounds, but the same Valuev strategy was shit. The only way you beat Wladimir is by making it a fight early and Haye didn't do that, he instead tried to outbox the stronger bigger boxer, and of course failed doing it.
All in all, it was a great EVENT and i hope the next one between Vitali and Adamek will be too.
Sorry folks Iw as delayed and haven't read the thread. I had it 9-3 for Wlad.
Tough to Ko a guy who won't fight.
Thank God this was Gaye's last fight
David Haye won 3 rounds ? i found it hard to give him 1.
I had an ingrown nail caused by someone treading & pivoting on my foot during sparring. bloody hurt for weeks.
Still don't think it would have made much difference to the outcome tbh.
I think LeftyLee is now on suicide watch.
Totally missed this ??? Killer you really didn't miss much, he fought more aggresive, didn't jab alot and Haye looked for a lucky sneak shot all nightnight. Landed one in the 12th but too little, too late. He got schooled. Hype...its a real SOB
Haye says he broke his toe ??? Happens when its shoved in your fat ass mouth :p
There ya go it was Haye's leg. If it was well Wlad would have been knocked out!;D
Well done Wlad, he controlld things in there, he was physically way too much for Haye. Haye showed a solid chin at times but offensively he just couldnt get off.
It wasnt a memorable night for Haye but it did produce the finest piece of analysis EVER when Lennox Lewis declared that Haye had cut Wlads left nose ;D
Seriously. It's so bad for the sport. There were casual fans that tuned into this fight because it was the heavyweight championship fight and Haye had talked more trash than anyone in recent memory leading up to the fight. And then to turn in a performance like that? It's astonishingly disgraceful. He should walk the plank. What a douche.
Just wanted to say that i feel bad for Haye. He was made to look bad by a fighter who was too gd fir him at the end of the day, Wlad makes guys look bad, did you guys not ser the last guy who he fought, that was a disgrace! Haye tried but he couldnt do anything, doesnt matter what he said before the fight, its called hype guys! What do you want Haye to say? "i reckon i might lose!" thats not gonna sell PPV buys or tickets is it? Sad to see Haye go out like this but he was always going to struggle as a Heavyweight once he fought someone gd.
IMO- despite the loss, haye put in at least a decent performance. He just wasnt aggresive enough and needed to take more chances.
It was a bit anti-climatic to watch.
Proves just how screwed up these belts all are these days ;he didnt do bad!
Were are talking the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP of the World here, you dont just do what you can and fall on the ground each round for points! This is meant to be the Top of the rung here.
Next time Haye should bring a Drs note like the rest of us if were only fit for minimal duty on the job. Usually look forward to Sunday morning HBO replays, this morning Its Meet the Press.
Somewhere.... there's a British Olympic diving coach salivating over what he saw last night.
the anti-Haye comments
Well he was targeted by the bias crowd in Germany before he stepped into the ring. It is not surprishing there would be heaps of Haye bashing after the fight.
David was a cruiserweight champion, he came along and won a piece of the
heavyweight title with good strategy, and defended it once. Now it is gone,
but thanks David Haye for shining for a moment in time.
All the pre-fight hype is just hype and does not mean a thing.
And all the post-fight bashing of David Haye serves no reasonable purpose.
But, when it comes time to do a bit of bashing from the armchair responsible reasoning
is not part of the game.
