Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
I've actually given Cayo all 3 rounds so far
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Is there any way Cayo doesn't get knocked out by a counter-right here?
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Nice round, Peterson, finally putting some intention on his shots.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Looks like Pascal is going to get syph tonight...
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Another close round but I thought Peterson got it. 3-1 Cayo. Good fight
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Pascal with a ringcard girl
Wonder is Hopkins let him have his boys back ;D

Should be an entertaining card though really looking forward to it. 9 PM ET tonight for those keeping track (6 PM PT, 1 AM GMT)
Why all the hate? I think the Peterson Brothers have done great given that they grew up as orphans living in a bus station.
I just want to see some good action packed fights, I think Miranda can upset Despaigne.
My hatred for them is strictly auditory. They're great on mute ;)
I'm with you, it's strictly their auditory that drives me nuts. BTW, love the pic of Peter as your sigi.
Oh, and good evening everyone. ;D
Que tal chica? You going to join our fantasy football league?
I've never played before, so not sure how it works. :dontknow:
I'm just glad that we are going to have a season. I am bummed that the Hall of Fame game was canceled though, that's always a big part of of the HOF induction weekend up here.
I'm a Bengals and Seahawks fan, so there might as well not be an NFL season :p
Ummm.... Browns fan, need I say more? ;D
Is there a big rivalry between the Browns and the Bengals? I assume there is for obvious reasons, but they've both been so shitty for so long...
Yeah, there is a little bit of a rivalry between the Browns and Bengals, the battle of Ohio and all, but our biggest rivalry is with the Steelers. Browns and Steelers fans hate each other with a passion.
I fucking hate the Steelers. They stole that Superbowl from the Seahawks.
You mean the refs did. ;)
And yeah, I hate the Steelers. We have some Steelers fans at work, and I give them shit all the time.
-
The key for Peterson is jab to the body, right cross up top, and when Cayo throws the uppercut launch the left hook!
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Cayo is doing better then I thought he would, he seems to take a good shot.

I still get pissed when I think about that game, and I'm a pretty casual NFL fan.

Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Slippery good round for Cayo right there...Peterson started yelping and looked the Peterson of 4,5 yrs ago ???
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Peterson doing nice body work in round 7, if he keeps that up he may be able to stop Cayo.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Cayo almost puts his head out like some guys paw with glove, range finder. Peterson rushes in and agrees to it then Cayo busts out with wild wingy shots
This looks like two differnt fights for Peterson style wise ?
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Khan would annihilate these guys both on the same night.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson

Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
I think the sound effects from Peterson give people the perception he is more effect than he actually is. Now don't get me wrong he's easily winning.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
I'm just surprised Cayo is still on his feet after 9, looks like he'll be able to go the distance.
Peterson would likely lose a decision to Khan, but I don't see the "annihilated" part.
-
Peterson sounds like the QB on Tecmo Bowl "Hut, Hut, Hut, Hut!"
I say this is Peterson's fight, he's pressing the action, he's landing better, Cayo's best shots are glancing blows. I think Lamont is taking Cayo to school. I would LOVE it if Peterson had 1 punch power, but I'm certain the workrate would slip.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Who the hell teaches that slapping punch Cyao has? ...

Peterson is a good solid fighter, it just doesn't seem like he'll be able to take it to the next level.

Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Why is peterson standing in the corner its the last round?
-
Dude, after landing those rights, feint and land the left hook!!!
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Good closure of the show but, well, just enjoy this particular big win on ESPN moment Lamont
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
G'night folks, not a bad FNF.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Victor Cayo-Lamont Peterson
Edison messed it up, ref should have given him a final warning.
I though Cayo was not that far behind on points than ESPN had him.

Right Miranda messed up, he kept going low, blame the DQ on him, not the ref.
Peterson was throwing the most 'effective' punches throughout the fight, especially to the body, if the fight hadn't been stopped in the last round, I believe Peterson wins a UD by something like 116-112.

I think ESPN had it far wider than that.

If I recall correctly Teddy had Cayo winning one round and had a 10-10 round.

Yes which is a lot further away than 8 - 4 116-112.
