I didn't think the Ortiz/Lopez fight was going to be as good as the first fight, but I was wrong. This is a good exciting fight going on so far.

Sucked to see Soto lose... Either I'm getting too far away from boxing but I did not think Matthysse had a chance to beat him. :confused:


Ortiz is too wild and is letting Lopez have to many openings. Really good fight.

Soto-Matthysse was a damn good fight as well, something we havn't seen much of lately.

All negative things about ortiz aside. Kudos to him for taking a fight against a solid fighter.

I think lopez goes down in this or the next round the punches ortiz landin seem more hurtful to lopez

Am I the only one who thinks Lopez looks like he's headed towards gasing out in the latter part of the fight?

I like his energy in there but he needs to be a bit more selective. He's getting too wild.

If Ortiz did more jabbing he would beat Lopez instead he's spending more time circling and not jabbing in the process. While he circles Lopez just let's off and Ortiz has to reset...

Whenever Ortiz leads with his jabs he beat Lopez to the punch and catches him going back. He needs to follow it up.
