A few Newcastle Brown Ales for me tonight, and perhaps a Guinness or 2 if DeMarco does well against Broner.

I don't see Banks causing Mitchell any grief, Seth by KO in one of the early rounds.

Mitchell will burn fast as a 'known' guy, but its good tv! Banks has all the tools but way too much on his plate and mind.

After looking at the piece on HBO I'm wondering if Banks will be inspired and get the upset tonight

I didn't expect that to be over so quickly, Banks was explosive.Where does Mitchell go from here?? He left himself too open for a counter shot and Banks took advantage of that, thats great win for him Banks.

Gotta be honest though, I never was impressed with Mitchell but I think his inexperience and lack of discipline in the ring did him in. If he can mentally recover it may not be the end for him.

It's going to be difficult to sell a fight between Vlad and his trainer.

I never would have guessed that Banks, who got knocked out by Adamek as a Crusierweight, would KO Mitchell. Nice little scrap.

Mitchell is good, but he needs to not rush in as much. If he has boxes a bit more he has more than enough power to hurt fighters. He will have learned a lot from this fight I hope. But Banks has to be given credit, nobody gave him a chance and he got the knockout. I wonder where Banks goes from here?

Broner looks ridiculous. I hope he loses, I have never warmed to this clown.
