What I find interesting is how the media and people who don’t like Floyd are complaining about how he dares himself fight Berto, yet, those same people didn’t say a thing about Pac facing Alguieri, Rios, Clottey, Diaz, etc. At least Berto is better than those 4.
Forget Manny and look at Berto recent record defeats against Guerrero and Karass which was by TKO and 2 struggling victories against Chambers and Lopez. Joke.
If Berto never had such freakish athletic abilities, Floyd would probably be able to beat Berto blindfolded. The skill differential is enormous.

Pac was horribly injured going into the fight... actually no, he was hurt, they recovered, but then re-injured himself in the fight... actually never mind, he wasn't injured he just had a sore shoulder... actually, he WAS injured, and he's been injured since 2008... he had surgery immediately after... actually by "had surgery", we mean he just swam in the ocean and let the salt water heal him.

And yeah the Berto fight stinks, but Floyd's almost 39, he's been a top p4p fighter in the sport for 17 years or so, he's beaten everyone and smashed PPV records, his legacy is set. He's accomplished what he will accomplish in the sport already. Who cares if he takes an easy fight. Every champion in the history of boxing has taken an easy fight at some point.
