Better round from SC. Frampton needs to find a big punch.
Big round for Santa Cruz
Interesting. I got Frampton up 3-2. I wonder if he can keep the pace
It appears Frampton carried his power. Santa Cruz is so tentative
I hate to say it, but Frampton is starting to look tired to me. His hands aren't as fast as before.
6th a clear round for Cruz
SC landed three or four massive punches the last 30 seconds there and won the round. Frampton was stunned there.
Its always bizarre to see a shorter guy stuff jabs on a guy with range like that. Frampton controlling real estate but his face is marking up big. Helluva round right there!
It's hard to cheer for someone who has their own name tattooed on their back.
He can't fight in close high volume withSanta Cruz. Cruz was doing serious damage.
These announcers just called the 6th close haha
The last 30 seconds of the 6th round seems to have changed the momentum here.
SC throwing more now. Frampton not as accurate and slowing down. SC wins points or late stoppage.
Cruz working hard to try and change the tide in this fight. He's getting close
Frampton on the end of sticks in 7th, hands starting to move without feet and looked bothered. Have no score but great speakers. If it matters
Frampton needs to keep his hands up or he's gonna get put on his ass.
Man. Big 8th!! Santa Cruz looked to control it. Couldn't score this even if Arum paid me.
Farhood is the homie. But he having a bad night judging
Santa Cruz has done a great job of shifting gears here. I think he's been the better fighter in the 2nd half of the fight due to his boxing.
Santa Cruz landing more punches than Frampton is even throwing
Now, I've seen about 3 fights so far this year, but could this be a FOTY candidate? I know there haven't been any knockdowns or really anyone getting rocked (aside from maybe Cruz early), but this is a great fight that is being fought at a high level.
Frampton left on the end of some head jarring shots in 11th. Big brass by both in what better be a immediate rematch strictly for my entertainment ;D Great scrap!
Frampton is going to lose and he's a bit of a shortarse at 126 to do well at world level. He should have stayed in Northern Ireland fighting B level guys and picking up the paycheques like Stevenson last night.
Not sure why Frampton is celebrating, this is getting away from him.
Great fight, I wasn't scoring it but I'm left with the feeling that Santa Cruz made the necessary adjustments to pull it out over the last half of the fight.
Could see it being a draw, but I think we'll definitely see a rematch.
Credit to Frampton. He fought way better than he did in the Quigg fight.
I rooted for Frampton but had Cruz taking it
:appl: awesome fight! Don't care who won because we'll see it again
The guy judging over here has it a draw. Yeah. Definitely SC by at least a couple of rounds.
117-111 is hard to understand.
Come on. 117-111?
Wow. Frampton won by four and six rounds on two cards. Haymon definitely doesn't understand this boxing business.
117-11 for Frampton? THat's absurd. Great fight but I thought Santa Cruz winning it 8-4 or so would have been acceptable, yeeesh.
That's pretty sad
Tom Schrek and Adelie Byrd need a sitcom together FFS.
My money would be on Santa Cruz in a rematch. If he stuck to boxing from the beginning then this would have been a clear UD for him IMO.
