Land on the floor from either a knockout or throwing one of his punches?

Hope it happens next year! Then you’ll get to see Joshua and Golovkin beaten in the same year. All we’d need is for Mayweather to make a hugely profitable return again and you’d have the best year of your life :biglaugh: I’ll be there to tell you about it

So that will mean AJ knocks out Wilder, GGG beats a running Canelo to a UD and Floyd goes broke for not paying his taxes then. :)

Dillian Whyte vs Robert Helenius
The best fight on the card and I hope Helenius can turn back the clock a bit and land something big on Whyte. A lot of people on this site seem to think Whyte is a world class heavyweight so we'll see how he does here (probably his best opponanent other than AJ) Chisora could make a strong case that he beat both of these guys so we're not talking about elite fighters here but it should be a good fight.

Whyte will then be the mandatory for Wilder.

So if he doesn't get KO'ed this month then it'll be waiting for him in the future.

A life of a heavyweight boxer.

Have you noticed AJ is advertising everything and is on a lot of billboards lately?
Anyway AJ is coming on mainstream TV on BBC this Wednesday night.
This exclusive documentary brings extraordinary insight into one of Britain's major sporting superstars in the final days before one of the biggest fights in recent history - the Joshua v Klitschko world title fight.
The film tells the story of the final hours leading up to the fight as Anthony says farewell to his family and friends. It includes intimate insight into the young champion at home the night before the fight and in his dressing room as the clock ticks down to the opening bell.
The third film from Goalhanger Films with unique access to the young fighter as he rises to the pinnacle of boxing’s most dangerous division, this new documentary includes a dramatic extended sequence featuring all the key action from the fight along with Anthony's own fascinating narration and analysis of the biggest test of his career so far.
Alison Kirkham, Controller of Factual Commissioning, says: "This revealing documentary gives viewers an extraordinary insight into Anthony’s biggest fight to date and the physical and mental preparation it took to take on a world champion - and win.
"Having followed his rise to the top in our two previous films, this new documentary gives a unique perspective on his victory through Anthony's post-fight analysis. It's the perfect reminder of why he's such an exciting fighter as he prepares to take to the ring once more."
Tony Pastor, Executive Producer, Goalhanger Films, says: "I can't remember a more talked about sports event in recent times. It was like watching Rocky but for real. In this film Anthony explains what really happened inside that ring and it makes truly compelling viewing."
Anthony Joshua will defend his world title belts in Cardiff against Bulgarian challenger Kubrat Pulev on 28 October.
Anthony Joshua: The Fight of My Life was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, Director of Content and Alison Kirkham, Controller, Factual Commissioning. It is being made by Goalhanger Films where the Executive Producer is Tony Pastor.
The 40 minute documentary, Anthony Joshua: The Fight of My Life will be shown on BBC One on Wednesday 18 October at 10.40pm

Re: Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev 28 October 2017
yeah that's if the fight happens
Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev in doubt after reports world heavyweight title challenger is injured
Quote:
Anthony Joshua's defence of his world heavyweight title against Kubrat Pulev is reportedly in doubt.
The pair are due to meet in front of a crowd of 80,000 in Cardiff on Saturday week.
But reports in Bulgaria claim Pulev may pull out after suffering a injury to a muscle in his shoulder.
Joshua was crowned world champion last year when he stopped Charles Martin to win the IBF strap.
Routine defences against Dominic Breazeale and Eric Molina followed before Joshua took on Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley six months ago.
The 2012 Olympic gold medalist climbed off the canvas to stop the heavyweight legend in the 11th round and add the WBA strap to his growing collection.
Joshua was ordered to face Pulev as the mandatory challenger for his IBF belt.
It would suit me if the fight was cancelled because the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are playing Birmingham on the same night and I wouldn't mind going to see them

Re: Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev 28 October 2017
Looks like it's Takam replacing Pulev. No doubt Joshua will cop a load of shit for this as if it were his fault!

Well I blame AJ for it
If Wilder can scare people onto PEDS then it's only fair that AJ can scare people into injuring themselves
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev 28 October 2017
Is it just me or do HWs seem to constantly pull out of fights?
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev 28 October 2017
Not ideal. No offence to Takam, he's in the number 3 position so it's only right he gets the job. You've got Whyte V Helenius on the card but If Whyte Helenius falls through for any reason other than Dillian getting a rematch with AJ, Dillian would literally kill Eddie Hearn.
I know no one really gives a fuck about Pulev/Takam, it's all about Joshua and people will still get to see him beat some fucker up. But it does take a bit of a hit now that it's a late replacement. Personally, I would have liked to have seen Miller and his mouth brought in.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev 28 October 2017
So Pulev is out of the way, Ortiz is out of the way. A deal with HBO is right around the corner. Basically it’s Wilder next or never. Good
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev 28 October 2017
I know most on here don't give a shit and 99% of the crowd wont but Yafai-Ishida, Whyte-Helinus, Buglioni-Johnson and a bunch of prospects is a bloody good night of boxing for a boring nerd like me.
Glad they've saved the card and Takam is a good late replacement. If they made Dave Allen or Lenroy Thomas the replacement anyone that bought a ticket would still turn up.

Takam is respectable considering the circumstances. Should be an easy night for Joshua and yes I'll still be happy to watch him beat some fucker up lol

I’m no more or less interested to be honest
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
Not AJ's fault
Wonder if this will stay on ppv / box office ??
Difficult to justify now
Though Hearn is saying AJ is not prepared for this opponent as all focussed on Pulev style - scary stuff !!!!!

I think Eddie will put it on BBC 1 free to air now.

Of course it won't be taken off PPV. Nobody was paying to see Palev (who the fuck is Palev) nothing has changed really. AJ has an easy fight and a nice payday ahead of him.

won't happen but with such an easy fight would be the perfect opportunity to look good and get introduce him to millions of potential future box office customers who curerently just know his name and that he is 'quite good'
I'd take that gamble but then again it's easy for me to say that

AJ is on tonight on BBC 10.30.
It would be perfect and he would be as big as Bruno!!!!

Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
Yes but did Bruno have his own deodorant and shower gel range so early in his career same as AJ has ?
Fact - I actually bought the AJ lynx shower gel 2 weeks ago

Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
Just watching this documentary about AJ on BBC1. It just reminded me about Wlad and his memory stick stitched into his robe.
What the fuck happened about that?
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
Wouldn't it be funny if it said "AJ KO's me late, but I'm gonna knock the cunt down first!";D;D
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
Personally think Takam will be more durable than Pulev. I heard he was on stand by so I hope he's in decent shape. He needs to be active, he will pressure but needs to let those hands go.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
Geezer earning over £15 million a fight, broke all ticket/box-office records, and is a walking talking billboard with about 50 major commercial sponsorship deals isn't famous enough yet?
Is this a Northern thing? Do you lot only have BBC north of Watford? Wait till you get channel 4, well edgy that is, blow your mind.

Vlad auctioned it off for charity, dude that bought it said he wouldn't reveal what was on it, I'm guessing kiddy porn.
What documentary are you all on about? I didn't know anything about it, I really need to start watching a bit more tv.
Is it worth catching up on or is it just AJ showing his muscles and chatting shit for two hours?

Lots of pulling out of fights at the moment. Fuckers pull out more than Ron jeremy

Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
Just seen one of the build up shows on Sky, didn't realise how small Takam is. He can be as game as he likes, but he's getting KTFO , and early.

Yeah, it’s hard to get excited for this card. Even if it was on standard Sky Sports I wouldn’t be all that pumped but there’s no way I’m paying for it.

Sky are doing their best to hide the size disparity as they have to sell this mismatch for all it is worth which is not a lot.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam 28 October 2017
If Takam was the original opponent and Pulev the replacement the exact same things would have been said about this fight.
Anyone that didn't know Takam certainly doesn't know fuck all about any other heavyweight in the world not named Tyson or Haye.
