If Rigo does win, in the Press conference after, he should wipe his ass with the fucking belt!
Ron mentioned this awhile back. Rigo should have already dumped those belts after they stripped him the first time.

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Can we sticky this or merge the Rogo/Loma fight threads? @Memphis @Spicoli @Master @Fenster etc
The brilliant Lee Wylie Boxing has made this and it is well worth a watch

forget your wife, have you asked your kids if its alright yet? I'm surprised they'll let you watch the Earlier fight card because it'll interrupt their watching of the X Factor and we all know how your kids bully you

PS4 games not X factor or Strictly.
Good long night of boxing. Can't grumble.

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
I may have to lean toward Rigo with this one. Watching the training that's been going on for this fight. Rigo seemed to gear his training to fight Loma and loma seems to training like hes fighting anybody. Unless team loma is keeping its cards close to its chest and has something under wraps, watching them do the recreation thing on social media, I just don't know if Lomas coming into this fight looking to make as big a statement as Rigo is. Height advantage goes to Loma, Reach goes to Rigo. It's said that rigo punches hard for his weight so he may not be at a disadvantage here. So that means the determining factor might be Volume, by where Loma has the advantage. The question for me is whether will be able to stop entertaining long enough to win the fight...

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Well I'm down the Villa tomorrow to watch us play Millwall (no one likes them) I should be back home by about 5:45 which will give me a wee bit of time to settle down and get ready for the DeGale card, then I'll have an hour or so before the Loma v Rigo card and then I'll be going to bed at the ripe old time of approx 6am.
can't wait, the only thing I'm not looking forward to is watching the Villa

There is a sky card on as well on the night.

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
I hope Rigo knocks Lomachenko out, but Lomachenko is like a Calzaghe of the lower weights.
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
I said before that I think Loma wins but wouldn’t be shocked if Rigo won. I think I would lean toward Rigo if it weren’t for the weight descrepancy. Because of that, I think Loma wins fairly easy.

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
BoxNations card
Dubois v Darch
Yarde v Sjekloca
Selby v Ramirez
Degale v Truax
Stevenson v Mendoza
Conlan v Molina
Lomachenko v Rigondeaux

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Smith is on sky in the morning

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
You going all the way through tonight @Master?
Thats my plan although I am fucking shattered at the minute, I was out last night and I've been sitting in the freezing cold all afternoon and its took its toll on me, I should be alright to manage it though, I might have a little power nap after the DeGale card

I did, I'm still cold now, it was the type of cold that gets into your bones.

I do not think I can make it now.

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Reports coming out that the purse demands of Rigo were wildly exaggerated by TR and Rigo actually accepted 400k for this fight. I hope it’s not true or it adds to the laundry list of mistreatment of this great fighter.
400k to move up 2 divisions to fight a P4P Guy is just unfair. To risk losing your belt 2 weight divisions down as well is criminal

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Aye thats shite money considering the interest in this fight. Well its not for me ...i would get in the ring with anyone for that money. Pay the mortgage and live happily. But for a fight of this scale thts poor money if its true for whats on the line.

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
I don’t get all the hype about Shakur Stevenson. He’s fast and has good technique but he telegraphs everything. He’s so Safety first that his speed is nullified a bit. When he gets in with someone his size he is in trouble. Fighting guys so much smaller does him no good.
Early stoppage, yes it was a mismatch but it’s a fight, give the guy a chance

Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
ESPN airing Jeff Horns 'championship fight' in the States at 6:30 am on a Wednesday workday morning? Good luck with those ratings.
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
PeeWee Cruz reminds us all, put thought into tattoos before deciding
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Diaz has one of the most stationary heads I’ve ever seen. Another highly touted prospect I don’t expect to age well
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Cruz down ineach of the first 2 rounds. First on a short right counter, 2nd round was on a left hook and came with a bit of chicken dance
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
3rd comes with more chicken dancing and a stoppage.
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
That was impressive. Solid finisher and great story Diaz. Already getting tired of the Loma drooling by fellas on mic ;D.
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
I’m back on the Loma train for taking this fight, wish Rigo didn’t come into it off so much inactivity but it is what it is.
Only thing that bothers me is seeing Crawford, Loma and Rigo together and realizing Loma is closer in size to Crawford than to Rigo. But again, it is what it is. Excited for the fight but waiting through these mismatches is hard
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Is this guy really called El Titty? I'm not expecting him to last long.
Evening everybody by the way. Looking forward to the main event.

Really can you post the pick? Loma didnt look that much bigger than Rigo to me.
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
I'm guessing that @Master has bailed on our date night then
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Loma camp putting on a show working ref about Rigo being dirty and it's not even started yet.

What say bud. Anatomically related nickname could be much worse ;D. Conlan having his way Molina here.
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Hey Guys! Long time no see. Some good fights tonight.
Conlan is not impressive. Tom Bradley is doing a good job breaking down his weaknesses really well.
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Easy for Conlan at the minute but I don't see him stopping him in the next 3 rounds
-
Re: Loma vs Rigo finalized Dec 9th
Rigo has moved up a hell of a lot of weight for a little guy.

Yup, the closer the fight gets the more I'm thinking Loma will win it easy.
I like them both but I think I'd prefer to see Rigo win it.
