Hearn should ~SUCK AN EGG~
Brock do not make new threads about AJ, stick to this one if you must.
@Master I had not remembered about this one thanks for merging the two
lolz Buckingbrocko, you may need to check in with your local quack and get your memory tested ;D
Anyways, I see flaws in both Wilder and AJ which is what makes it such a great fight (if it is made) I don't think anyone can be 100% confident of the outcome.
At the moment I am leaning towards AJ to beat Wilder but no doubt if Wilder puts on a show against Fury then I'll swing back to Wilder...If Fury wins then that puts a whole new spin on it but I'm not really considering him at the minute because I still think it is too soon for him following his comeback and possibly too late for him to ever get back to his peak.
You little dachshund Master merge the two threads you just think you saw it twice
I think Brock speak types these posts whence the spelling. Makes it even more impressive actually. Most people can barely string a sentence together verbally.
I agree with Brock in this thread , Joshua should shelve fighting in the UK in front of 80-90 thousand people.
Instead he should go and fight in Oklahoma in front of 14 thousand , he also would get paid much less which is a good career move.
He should ditch Eddie Hearn and instead go with Stacey "GOODNIGHT" Goodson.
Hype from the land of hype most American fighters are well hyped.
Remember AJ has been dropped got up to win Wilder on the other hand has not shown any resolve he's been buzzed by a OAP Cuban.
AJ quality over Mexican road sweepers for Wilder.
]Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury and the rest of the heavyweight division hold no fear for Anthony Joshua after he came through torrid preparations to score a brutal knockout victory over Alexander Povetkin.
@Gandalf is 100% that I use Google text-to-speech via the microphone on my phone and it is quite easy for me as he can clearly see since he is a rather an astute teacher of the English language and that means Reading Writing speaking and listening that I am indeed speaking non-stop into the phone and stream together perfectly grammatical sentences without a hesitation or even sometimes any punctuation at all because I don't know how to say the word, or. Or! Or colon or semicolon when I'm speaking into the microphone.
by the way Anthony Joshua really sucks and the way he got rocked in the first round with that left hook that split his nose open shows what a piece of garbage he is
Wow you can speak. You should never talk about Pros in the way you do though. Calling Joshua 'A piece of Garbage' whatever you think of his ability just makes you sound like a bitter loser. He is an overachiever in so many ways and puts his money where his mouth is every time he steps through those ropes. Until you do the same I suggest it might be a good idea to show boxers a bit more respect.
]I respect him as a boxer just as I respect all boxers. I'm just saying he is a horrible boxer but I respect him because he puts his life on the line every time he goes in there just like all boxers. He puts his money where his mouth is too. I'm just saying he really sucks and could be the worst heavyweight champion of all time besides Leon Spinks who I also greatly respect. But we should be allowed to judge the abilities of an athlete objectively. Respect is a different issue.
But come on you have to admit this guy is a fake and a phony with big muscles
In terms of his boxing skill he is a piece of garbage. But I totally respect him for the fact that he is pursuing what he loves to do and that he is getting into the ring and putting his life on the line. I have total respect for that part. But in terms of his boxing skill he is a piece of garbage
Quite possibly the shittest thread I have ever seen on here. Utter buffoonery.
He's beaten Ring Magazine ranked #1, two Ring Magazine ranked #3's, the current Ring Magazine ranked #5 and the current Ring Magazine ranked #8. 3 of these fighters were unbeaten when he faced them.
After 18 fights, he faced Wladimir Klitschko. Do you know where Wilder was at 18 fights? He beat a guy who got KO'd by Mark De Mori. De Mori is the guy David Haye knocked out in his comeback fight. Fury was fighting Martin Rogan in his 18th fight, the Irish taxi driver. Joseph Parker fought Jason Bergman (who) in his 18th fight. Povetkin fought Lee Nolan (who). In Ortiz's 18th fight, he faced a debutant.
Like I said, utter buffoonery.
I think Boxing is evolving now though. Making it big in the US is not the dream it once was. There isn't really a US fighter making it big in the US now Mayweather has gone. There would be no business sense in getting Joshua to fight in the US really. They'd lose UK PPV money due to the time difference.
Over the next few years, the big fights are in the UK. Whyte, Fury (maybe both), Usyk, and then after that you have Joyce, Dubois. There is only Wilder and Miller who you would really consider from the US at this point in time and both would be UK fights.
I don't think the UK has ever had someone who is so comprehensively the A-side before. We've had guys who spent the majority of their careers as the A-side, but then became the B-side in a mega fight, but there isn't a heavy on the planet who can commercially compete with Joshua.
Anthony Joshua has no skills at all he has no speed his hand speed is terrible he is very rigid and a straight up and down fighter he is horrible with his left jab NOT ONLY IS IT A REALLY HORRIBLE LEFT JAB BUT AFTER HE THROWS IT OR SHOULD I SAY PAWS IT LIKE A LITTLE CAT.... the way he brings it back so low and he is so susceptible to overhand rights and left hooks to body. He has to be the biggest joke of all time of any heavyweight champion.
Just think, if he did know how to fight a bit, he'd be on a 22 kill streak which I'd imagine is pretty impressive in Call of Duty let alone real life.
Disappointed Brock hasn't mentioned that Joshua definitely gets sparked out in every sparring session he takes part it.
I don't know if he gets parked in sparring but he is mediocre at best.
Yeah, but strangely not Seldon, Martin ,Ruiz, Briggs, Liakovich , Hide or Bent apparently, because according to Brock, “ I have never seen such a poor heavyweight champion in my entire life”. And
“after watching the Anthony Joshua vs povetkin fight it is safe to say that almost any heavyweight champion over the past 50 years could whip Anthony Joshua and I am including even Leon Spinks”.
Ain’t that right Brock? :LOLATYOU::rolleyes:
Pretty much, yeah, Lil Tony-Tone just LOOKS like an Adonis but his boxing is mediocre at best. Stiff, rigid, low left hand, susceptible to overhand rights, suspect chin, and kind of boring.... Fought 41 year old Wlad and 39 year old Povetkin, got hurt bad by both,....
Admittedly he's doing great, gets the win, gets his man, it's true Memphis. But he's walking a thin line, you can see it, it's just a matter of time before he meets a prime fighter that fucking ~STARCHES~ his mediocre ass.
Seriously.
Take away Wilder and fury for a moment. Who is this prime fighter that ~STARCHES~ his mediocre ass? ;D
little Tony Tone Joshua can be starched very easily like a Michael Grant or like an Andrew golota he is just a big talk with a great muscular frame who knows almost nothing about boxing. Let him keep throwing out that ridiculous left jab he has and then dropping it down to his left knee. He can be stached even by people who are no longer in their Prime. I bet you Ortiz can starch him if Ortiz comes to fight like he did against Wilder he would starch little Toni Tone
~~~starched~~~✖❌❎🔘🔴⚫
You know what I'm saying?
Fucking ~~~FLAT IRONED~~~
Ortiz ;D Prime?
How much shit would you give him for flattening a 57 year old?
Pick someone prime man, they're your rules, this should be simple.
There is no other "Prime Fighter" outside Wilder and Fury and it remains to be seen if Wilder is that good and if Fury can still do what he did against Wlad.
The next level is Whyte, Parker, Chisora, Ortiz etc.
People are forgetting that Wilder was done a MASSIVE favour during rounds when Ortiz nearly took him out, what did they give him an extra 30-40 seconds to come to his senses.
Wilder looked like he'd just left a nightclub with me as he wobbled back to his corner 😁
Deontay Wilder is a piece of garbage and should be playing basketball instead of being a boxer. I have never seen such an off-balance Atomic windmill swinging wildly like he is throwing a discus at the Olympics
*sigh*
