big difference between hunting for food to feed yourself & keeping wild animals caged. do you think i or any person has the right to tell you what to do?
Yes there's a vast difference between hunting for food and exploiting animals. Telling people what to do depends on circumstances, right? Yes many people
need to be told what to do.
As for Tiger King - take away the cruelty to animals aspect, it was a standard crazy American hillybilly show that Louis Theroux was doing 25 years ago.
so do i or any person have the right to tell you what to do? you are an adult right? as for tiger king, all those people were strange. wonder if that lady did kill her husband

I'm more like a 44 year-old child with an 84 year-old's body. In my domain? No you can't tell me what to do. In yours? Yes. As far as society goes - yes, laws, rules and police are needed.
Tiger King - i'm in the tiny minority who seem to think it's more likely her husband disappeared after crashing his plane in the swamps.

Re: Last TV show/Box Set you watched? (Flag spoilers)
Save Me Too - I loved the first series, London set drama about a middle aged dead-beat dad searching for his missing/dead daughter. Nonces. Druggies. Desmonds. Great cast - Lennie James, Stephen Graham, who's who of Brit actors. Not recommended if you're looking for the Avengers.

why would you equate not bowing down to authority to ruining someone else's property? i routinely visit friends & remove my shoes before entering their house, always without being asked, as it is just a show of respect & courtesy for another persons property. having manners does not mean you are superior to me & i must obey you. if i came to your house & you said i must wear a slave t-shirt & walk around on my hands & knees, while you lead me around on a leash, i would say no thanks & want no part of your nonsense. if simon says i must stay inside while some of simons friends are exempt, simon is just a dude, i say no thanks & want no part of his nonsense

I could have gave the exact same example as you, hence why I mentioned "circumstance" and "respect." Both our examples are intentionally extreme. I believe the isolation idea is common sense. I don't believe there's a world-wide conspiracy. I believe police forces are common sense for a civilised society (which doesn't mean there aren't bad police or bad rules/decisions made).
Whatever your reasons for rebelling I don't see the point? What does it achieve?

you said in my domain yes. i take that to mean that in my domain you would obey me? now if i ordered you to do anything that put you at a level below me as a person that wouldn't be right. we are both guys, men, both equal & neither is superior & can tell the other what to do as if they were their daddy. you believe because you were told something, i don't believe the things you were told. we both don't know. i haven't seen proof of your belief, so until i do your belief is not knowledge. i think for there to be a crime there must be a victim, not just going against another persons idea. my goal is to live as freely as possible

I'm currently re-watching the Spartacus TV series. I'm halfway through the second season (Spartacus: Vengeance) now.
This was a great series. It has more beautiful women in it then anything else I've ever watched.

Deadwood has been wonderful to watch all the way through

Re: Last TV show/Box Set you watched? (Flag spoilers)
Went through and binge watched Treme which was interesting watching close to home. Finally finished Tom Clancys Jack Ryan which at first I thought I'd hate but now really look forward to the 3rd season. It was weird...the actor Wendall Pierce was in both. Not sure why but couldn't stand him in Treme, but he was awesome in Jack Ryan. Really want to check out The Mandalorian..finally!

Afterlife 2. It was good, watched it in one hit so that says something. Genuine laugh out loud moments and moments to make you hold on to the person next to you that little bit tighter. On the whole, preferred the first series I think.

FWIW I think Carole Baskin had her husband offed.
Also (heard this from RedLetterMedia) apparently Joe Exotic had taxidermied tigers in his house that he and his partners used in sex acts. So there's that.

Just people operating on pure emotion rather than common sense or logic. Carole is just as bad as all the others only it doesn't seem like she breeds any of the cats. The breeding of the cats and constant need of cubs/kittens is an issue worth taking a look at.
Anyone who has a pet (much less an exotic pet) need to operate responsibly in the best interests of their pet(s)

Re: Last TV show/Box Set you watched? (Flag spoilers)
Gangs of London - my sister asked me can all gangsters fight like that? What? You mean Like Bruce Lee? Jason Bourne? Yeah course they can. I started out hating it but ended up liking it. Doesn't matter who you are there's always someone bigger, better and more ruthless. Constant double crossing, OTT violence and fun cliche after cliche. Peaky Blinders it is not.

Re: Last TV show/Box Set you watched? (Flag spoilers)
After Life 2 - he clearly can't stand this current PC/SJW era (who can apart from soppy entitled millennials?). It's easy for me to like because I share his view that the world is mental, religion is mental and if everyone just stopped being a cunt and laughed at themselves life would be so much better. I like that his cunt characters don't know they're a cunt. And Paul Kaye (Dennis Pennis) is still the daddy of being a cunt.

Re: Last TV show/Box Set you watched? (Flag spoilers)
The Last Dance - Jordan, Bulls, 6th championship season and a look back at Jordan's career. Loved it from start to finish. I'm not even a basketball fan as such, don't watch it at all now but that Bulls dynasty was kinda globally impossible to ignore. I remember channel 4 I think used to do basketball on Sundays and me along with everyone I knew we're glued to it. Personally I never really understood the game as a whole, it was all about Jordan and how incredible he was. That much was true, he was and is a proper bonafide sporting great. Watching the documentary you get a better understanding of the team and the components that make the whole, the importance of Pippen, Rodman, Jackson etc, but even in their words it was all about Jordan and how he dragged a shit team from the gutter and turned them into a multi championship winning team and global icon. Great stuff.

Save Me - Save Me Too - Dude goes on the hunt for his estranged daughter after she's groomed and snatched by nonces. Currently two series, not sure if there will be any more. It was alright. Main issue with it was even though I still thought he was a right prick. His ability along with many people around him to spend most nights in the boozer whilst having no job was to be applauded though. Must be a London thing. All the Eastenders mob do it. Not sure where it can go if it comes back. Getting deeper into the web would be good but it's just a daft bloke knocking on doors. Not sure how far that will get him at the deeper end of the cesspool he dipped his toe into.

Re: Last TV show/Box Set you watched? (Flag spoilers)
The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez - Mini documentary on Netflix about the abuse and eventual murder of Gabriel Fernandez by his 'mother' and mothers boyfriend. Also detailing the systemic failures of the law enforcement and social care systems that failed him so miserably. I love a legal doc as you know especially the legal/courtroom element of it but this was something else. Pure evil, no other description for it. I was slightly surprised to see that his step father stayed alive for the four months between verdict and sentencing. That's not really a spoiler. There's no question of guilt here. I've never really heard a judge talk to a defendant the way he did these two. Essentially telling them that he hoped they lived the rest of their days in agony. I agree totally. I hope they suffer some of the abuse they dished out.

I watched that, it was some sick shit those people did. Just a massive failure on an overtaxed system. Disgusting to see.

Really fills me with a great sense of relief knowing that the police are to be defunded and replaced with Social Workers et al. I mean SURELY there aren't failures by them right?
I'm watching Black Sails now, I think plenty of folks would enjoy that.

I too know nothing about Basketball so was hesitant about this but absolutely loved it. Fantastic insight into not just a ruthless genius player (as most greats in all sports are), team members and management but also gave an appreciation of just how huge this sport is in America compared to boxing. They have predominantly white crowds packing out huge arenas whilst worshiping black players (the complete opposite for boxing). Proper A-list celebs looked coy around the players/staff. And considering it was the 90s the soundtrack is terrific.
Few things - I was surprised how "short" Jordan looked compared to most other players. Surprised how much boozing, smoking, gambling and partying went on for "athletes." Jordan has yellow eyes yet liver disease has been denied. I can see why they had huge gambling controversies too. And Dennis Rodman deserved a series all for himself, a genuine "humble" eccentric cruising through life giving no fucks about anything.
Funny the sport never took off over here even though they swapped all the football cages for basketball ones on London council estates/parks.

Netflix is playing the original star trek series. I was never a Trekkie but I’ve been watching episodes when I can. They are cheesy but fun to watch.

Is that the one with Patrick Stuart? I’m very unlearned with start trek.

Yes it is but their movies were not very good.
Voyager is another excellent series.
The new films with Chris Pine are good.
