Exactly. Also, Any man can call for anything, what happened to freedom of speech? I can call for all Scorpios and Pisces to avoid Mexican food on Tuesdays and Fridays. It's not racist. Joshua can say "frequent African and Carribean businesses only", it's freedom of speech. What's wrong with encouraging the self determination of your own people??? What's wrong with Kurds doing business with other Kurds and avoiding Irish shops? Is there any law against that? I support the downtrodden (400 years of intergenerational trauma, changes the DNA, etc.) Uplifting Themselves BY ANY (LEGAL) MEANS NECESSARY. Afro-Cubans should purchase their products at African stores. Fuck Walmart and Mike Brady's "Old Galway Shop". Armenians shop at Armenian, Indian, Arabic and Persian bazaars. We don't give our money to Fritz Ulmer's Delicatessen. Bangladeshis shop at Bengali and Pakistani stores. They don't give their hard earned money to Billy Kirk's Auto Shop. Fuck that.
I buy all my cassava, fufu, coconut, jackfruit, bhindi, palak, saijan, tamarind, catahar, aloo, jeera, dhania, haldi, ajwain, lal mitch, etc.at ARMENIAN, INDIAN, IRANIAN STORES.
I give nothing to Timmy Taylor's Food Market
and whats this drivel about doing well in a classroom? YOu aint doin well in any classroom if you gotta go work on a farm or hustle for something to eat when you're 10 years old. How dare anyone expect that poor child who is parentless, dirt poor, who needs to hustle in the street to eat a piece of bread every day, how dare they say that person should be able to extricate him or herself from that. Anyone who thinks like that is ignoring the cause and effect of it all, who can break the chain of being destitute and who is anybody to tell them what and how to do it? It is all bollocks theory on paper, platitudes. Real life is something totally different than these smug asswipes will ever experience. And they want to say how it should go. Just platitudes. Just once again Let Them Eat Cake.
Sickening naive shit. They couldnt extricate themselves from a paper bag, they wanna tell people stuck in ghettos how to pick themselves up. Fuck outta here.

The article which you would do well to read is absolutely bang on in addressing the subject of this thread. You seem incapable of addressing your own hang ups about race and it may help you move on instead of living a life in denial.

Oftentimes it's like you're responding to a completely different post which I didn't write or post.
Where are the questions you say I won't respond to?

Why are you distracting and defecting in an attempt to avoid actually reading something that would help you address one of your most disabling blind spots?
Read it and address the thread. One foot in front of the other. That way progress is made. Save your games for those who would indulge you.

Unlike you I do not get high, ever. I am as well unlike you, not angry either. Your default state seems to be surly arsehole with massive comprehension problems.
All this because you are afraid of reading an article. It makes perfect sense. Read it.

I have never met people so afraid of showing even the tiniest glimpse of human empathy or solidarity with their fellow man than that displayed here.
I am so glad a friend shared that article with me because nobody is immune to knee jerk reactions or being ignorant. I am sure many will know the story but most will not.
Even now the mistreatment of Aboriginals and their death at the hands of white police in Australia is shocking. Much like the treatment and deaths of Palestinians at the hands of an extreme right wing racist Israeli police force.

That was a professional level dodge. The friend who manipulated you with the article do you zoom frequently? Is this a “crew” effort? Or is it me and my new accounts? Are you zooming with me and not even aware? Just how deep have I gone. Next I’ll be sending you articles of Christians being pushed off the cliffs in South Korea

I wonder if he will go to Saudi Arabia and lecture them when unlike the UK they do have serious human rights problems for women, gays and don't really allow many Anglican churches to pop up.
You are right though, looking even at The Sun, most of the commenters think he is a bit silly. Maybe they are all racist as they are not only silent but vocal (Silence is violence apparently). Maybe they need to be disenfranchised.

If racism was burgers, white supremacy would be McDonalds. It's the most powerful brand of racism and it's been that way for 400 years. And its been transported across the planet.
That's why blk ppl dont have any allies bcoz the global transportation of white supremacy has made many Asians and Latinos have the same anti black views as many whites.
Black ppl are the engine room for freedom and justice. Thats not no ego shit. Thats just what it is.
We are the only race who have consistently gone head to head against the white supremacists. We have to regulate their madness.
And have you noticed something?
Ppl are starting to act a little bit right now.

Sports are fairly objective. You either can hit three pointers or you cant. You either can run the 100m in under 10 secs or you cant.
But in the industries most blk ppl find themselves this is far from the case.
Will this person “fit in” with the company?
Do they have “enough” experience?
They're judgment calls.
So if you have a system of racism that teaches you that blks are lazy, dumb and violent whose gonna get the gig ?
Whether or not a person can hit a three-pointer, score a touchdown, get pole position, knock some one out is not nearly as subjective.
Not to mention, whites have always been willing to let black people entertain them, even at the height of racism.
The question is, how have they felt about blacks being their bankers, doctors, bosses ?

White supremacy is all about being in a position to punish or reward.
The white supremacists can take down any of those names you mentioned if they want. Take Tiger, when he got out of line, with banging too many white women. The white supremacist humbled him, made apologise and cry like a bitch on TV.
The white supremacists are very sensitive about blk playboys. Of course the white playboys like Charlie Sheen and Leo Di Caprio are no problem. But ask Bill Cosby what happens to blk men when he's banged a lil bit too much white pussy.
It's not a coincidence that the leading blk male actors in Hollywood - Will Smith, Denzel, The Rock and Idris Elba are all happily married.
That's not a coincidence .

Master, why on earth have you liked this post? It is full of nonsense.
Before the 2008 crash plenty of black people and indeed white people, who really should not have been getting loans, did indeed get their loans. And what happened? It crashed the economy. We should not give loans easily to people.
Also, what is this thing about getting a job? Dennis you have said several times that you do well, so who exactly is denying you this mysterious job? Have you lost the job?
Do you honestly think people think about who made the car? I am sure plenty of black people work in car factories and people still buy the car. If you want a black car company then maybe a black person could set one up. I would buy it if it was affordable and efficient, but please no bling as that is distasteful.

The part about the car was nonsense. The part about the houses and loans is all too real.
You need to re-examine your views, Miles.
Restrictions were put on house ownership in many U.S. cities which kept blacks from owning homes..... and many of these restrictions persevered well into the 20th century.
Why do you think blacks traditionally occupy the worst neighborhoods? Why do you think the percentage of home ownership by blacks is so low as compared to whites?
As much as some would like to bury the past and pretend it never happened....... it's not possible.

No disrespect to Miles, but he doesnt live here and doesnt really know the daily ins and outs and only can get through no fault of his own, his news from online and research, but I PERSONALLY KNOW SEVERAL BLACK FAMILIES WHO WERE KEPT FROM OWNING HOMES IN NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY, PATERSON, NEW JERSEY AND EVEN IN A LITTLE TOWN I KNOW ALL-TOO-WELL, EAST ORANGE, NEW JERSEY. Those restrictions were put in major force in 1961 for the most part and persevered well into Y2K Era let us just say. He wouldnt live in one of the areas where blacks occupy, though he think the housing prices are just grand! DOnt think he'd want what they largely have which is rats, mice, bed bugs, cockroaches, silver fish, LOTS of dilapidated real estate which is really old and overpriced, trust me, I lived in EAST ORANGE, NJ FOR 7 YEARS, IT'S 96% BLACK, I SAW IT DAILY, my friends were trying to buy houses, move into a "better neighborhood" and kept getting rejected. YOu cant know that stuff from Asia by researching it, Im talking REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES I HAD. FIRST HAND.

Re: Anthony Joshuas racist comments
Are we defending the predatory subprime lending or am I missing something.
-
Re: Anthony Joshuas racist comments
I can personally tell you in my own neighborhood a black family was pretty much discouraged by neighbors to not buy a house, via rude welcoming during the property viewing, and being intentionally snubbed that afternoon in a community BBQ by a man named Al Bonwick. I saw it with my own eyes, we were playing stickball on a Saturday afternoon, it was cold, rude, weird and def racist. And he knew it.

I am talking about pre 2008, Tito. Many loans were given to people who couldn't really afford them when the tide turned. I don't really approve of loans and only do it myself if I know the risk is tiny. I would have never agreed to the kinds of mortgages people were choosing and banks were preadting with, but that is me.
People could get loans but they were unfavorable. Now there I would point out what I would call racism, but blacks could indeed get loans, but they wouldn't be good one's. I am not sure why an income of 200 grand a year would even need a loan, but again that is my mentality as I am good with money. I would just save for a few years and buy within my price range, but people and their 20 year mortgages.
It was a factor for sure and the issue was people taking on loans that were not good loans. You need to read the small print. Banks were very naughty. Not just homes but many kinds of loan. Not a fan of loan culture myself.

I am certainly not. It was too many loans and they were predatory. I don't approve.

So tell me how is AJs alleged racism affecting whites ?
Plus I find this ironic when race is more important than money to many whites. I'm pretty sure you know that whites will hire whites with a criminal record than black ppl who are clean.
I'm pretty sure you know that.
If black people produced a car, most whites would not buy that car, no matter what. Lets just start talking real.

FIRST HAND.
The data shows many were given bad loans, including blacks, in the run up to 2008. This was predatory lending and I would argue even at times racist too.
Don't start with the personal stuff when you have never even bought a home. You know full well black people have mortgages and homes. It isn't India.

I am talking about pre 2008, Tito. Many loans were given to people who couldn't really afford them when the tide turned. I don't really approve of loans and only do it myself if I know the risk is tiny. I think we're going off on a tangent here. Denilson's point was the historical disparities in home ownership between blacks and whites. Much of this is due to restrictions on deeds which existed in the books until well into the 20th century. This is a major factor in the horrific disparities we see today. Much of the segregation still existing in U.S. cities is due to factors such as these. This has nothing to do with favorable and unfavorable loans and banks being naughty. "Blacks could indeed get loans"? Sorry... history doesn't back you on that.

Emily Badger shows that blacks were indeed getting loans and they were not very good loans in the run up to 2008. They were more likely to be denied than whites and to be subprime, but blacks have been able to get mortgages and don't forget a mortgage is only one form of loan. There are MANY types of loan be it a car loan, credit card, pay day lender, pawn shop.

Frankly (and I don't care what Emily Badger whoever she is says)...... it's like we're talking two different languages right now. I'm struggling to maintain a cordial tone, but it's mind-boggling how I keep mentioning discrimination against blacks in home ownership going all the way up to the mid to late 20th century......... and you keep on talking about 2008 and good loans and bad loans.
History shows that blacks were denied home ownership in many cities well into the 20th century and this has caused the wide disparity we see today.
Can we get off types of loans, credit cards, and pawn shops already?
