I don't see the point in a rematch. They could fight 100 times and the outcome will be the same.
The rematch is in Australia too. One of the easiest to predict rematches you can imagine.
I wonder how keen the promoters will be to put it on. Gate receipts are a huge part of Australian promotions and their guy has had his bubble well and truly burst tonight. There might be a rethink coming from the promoter side of this. The Aussie is probably thinking he won't ever be in fight bigger than the rematch so will want whatever revenue it does generate.
Be great if they could sneak a Loma fight in before returning to Australia. Because Kambosos has next to no chance against Haney. They were just not on the same level
Easy work Haney.
He will get the best money fights at 135 then move up and be undisputed at 140.
The rematch will be better.
Ferocious was atrocious.
He's good when his opponents engage, like Teo did and come forward. His style is not so good when fighting someone that will sit comfortably behind the jab all fight and grab after every exchange.

Kambonsis is simply a pure counter puncher
I suppose you gotta give congrats to Haney being the first undisputed champion at lightweight in this 4 belt era.
But he may be incapable of giving us an exciting fight ........ever. He reminds me of the second half of Wlad’s reign without Wlad's power. His jab, grab and flee, safety 1st style is not going to endear him to casuals. But listeniing to the commentray I’m surprised Tim Bradley could get any words out with Haneys dick in his mouth.
O and I wish people on social media stop comparing Haney to Floyd
People forget that Floyd was a killer in his 20's
Finally when did Haney become Muslim?
well done devin

george has set the rematch in motion
George Kambosos has activated his rematch clause with undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney.
Haney, 23, beat Kambosos on points in Melbourne this month to win the WBC, WBA (Super), IBF and WBO lightweight titles.
"Yes, the rematch is happening, 100%. I have activated the rematch clause," Australian Kambosos told NewsCorp.
The rematch is likely to be held in Australia, with Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane potential venues.
Unbeaten American Haney was the WBC champion before he beat Kambosos to become the first undisputed champion in the lightweight division for 32 years.
Haney agreed to travel for a first fight held in Melbourne and although a venue has yet to be chosen for the rematch Kambosos said the bout "will be in Australia".
"I know I can win a rematch," Kambosos added.
"I will make some changes and this is my destiny to show how great I am and get those belts back.
"I am blessed to get the shot again. Not many Australian boxers can say they've had three world title fights in a row."

Can't blame the guy (Kambosos) for trying. But there's zero chance he wins a rematch. The difference in skill level is too great, and I have a difficult time seeing how Kambosos is going to be able to make any adjustments to counteract that.
But hey... the rematch clause was there, and it must be honored.
i just still can't see devin coming back here, i think there might be some sort of fee if devin moves up instead but if devin is taking the short end of the stick again on the purse then it might be worth it to just move up, all the shit with his dad & being called a rat, australia wasn't the most welcoming to team devin. note that i could be wrong about the purses
