doesn't he have a decision over Winky Wright? maybe it was a robbery but it must of been a close fight for the judges to see it that way. I guess Wright was never that good either eh? ;D

cc,I have never been a bog Vargas fan,he seems more like a wanabee to Mayorga's real gangster/crazy man image and I'm sure Vargas ran from Mayorga once? I'm right aren't I Hulk? Anyway,I think Mayorga would eat him alive,Mayorga by KO.
-
Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
I don´t have to pay PPV...he he, it´s free here in Sweden.

Mayorga had 1 decent win over Lewis when Vargas was fighting Oscar and you tell me he was scared of your boy!! ???
World champion at 21yrs old and only 2yrs later they throw him in with Wright, Quartey and Trinidad how could you not be a fan?

Yeah I liked Vargas back in the day, but he is nearly shot now. He's sellin on his name and former reputation, but tryin to fight like Floyd Mayweahter. He is not as hard or crazy as Mayorga, and not as willing to go to war as he used to be. Currently he would be KO'd by Mayorga, Ricardo would overwhelm him.

maybe so... but would you be of that same opinion if Vargas stops Mosley in the rematch and Oscar stops Mayorga? I think a lot of people underestimate how much the 29yr old version of Nando has left.
-
Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
uh..theres gonna be a rematch of that Vargas vs Mosley fight? WTF? WHY? And I'll be of the same opinion as I am now, once Mayorga stops Oscar Delahoya.

i believe this one (ODH vs. Mayorga) is the only one of these that's PPV here in the states -- the rest are free HBO or Showtime.

Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
I must say that I'm terribly flattered that someone saw fit to bring this post back up.
And yes, the boycott is still on!!
-
Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
I think Delahoya will find out how the public feels about him after such a long absence when the PPV numbers come in. It'll be interesting to see how this fight does in comparison to the PBF-Judah fight.
-
Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
I will not rest. . . . . . until the world hears my story.
Hey guys, you got the Kentucky Derby, and some great NBA and NHL playoff games this weekend. If you can see the fight for FREE, thats fine. Otherwise, save your money. This mismatch is simply not worth it.
-
Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
How can this not be a good fight? Mayorga respects no mans power ie.sticking your chin out to Tito
Has Oscar ever run from an opponent? and dont give me that Tito bs... the answer is no!! History's only ever 6 division champion fighting a brawler in his 2nd last outing and some of you are too tight to be a part of it!! fan of the sport eh? ???

Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
Exactly! If its truely his 2nd to last fight, why doesnt he spend these last 2 fights against PBF and Trinidad or Vargas. Those fights make sense. This fight, against a guy with limited boxing skills, whose only shot at winning is if Oscar stands toe to toe and trades (which he will NEVER do with a puncher like this) is not interesting. I dont understand why you guys cant see that.

Re: Post here to BOYCOTT Delahoya-Mayorga!
The only time Oscar ran was to his corner after Jay Nady manhandled him ;D
