Hope Pac gets a crack at PBF, he would F*** him up on the performance, PBF can dance all night but I think Pac is a man on a mission !!
Well done Pac and congrats to you and your fans, I hope you go on for a few years more and strike the same terror into other fans as you have with some of us Hattonites.
Seem like the Hattonites are a fair bunch. Gives props when apt, and with perspectives spot on, truly entrenched in reality! Likewise, there is not enough words to commend the strength of support they bestow upon their fighter. My hats off to you all!
Mabuhay Hatton, Mabuhay Pacquiao!

The Hatton-Floyd Sr duo is not doing that well. I can easily tell that by watching the 24/7. I think Hatton is unhappy with Floyd Sr. I don't know... something is just not right with them.
Your an idiot for saying that because I know you don't know anything about it. Can't wait for all these last minute 'even up the poll' Pac fans to retreat back to their little forum.
He's right with his suspicion all along there buddy. The Floyd Sr ordering at the taco bell drive thru while running late for Hatton training session alone will give you an idea how fukked up their training camp was.
Here's my short analytic Prediction for this fight.
How the hell Hatton can close the Gap without taking bombs? Pac's arms are 5" longer than hatton. Pac has the better Jab... Ohh much better coz hatton actually was Virtually no Jab at all. On this fight Pac will use a lot of his Lead Left coz that punch will still be the longer & effective shot that hatton's Jab.
Now How can Hatton can close the Gap? His Jab won't help. hatton will use his head movement to get close to Pac. The Bad news ... Pac's footspeed is much Faster than Hatton. All Pac has to do is step Back & counter with Jab, Right Hook or lead left.
IN case Pac was caught in a Clinch, Pac was good in this situation. All you have to do is watch Pac-Velasquez. Pac can throw that Left uppercut hook even while Clinching. Pac also aware on what's coming & quick to move his head on one side to the other to avoid Punches during a Clinch.
The key in this fight is Pac's punch accuracy from the outside. Hatton's is way out of League in that Category. I see this fight going the way How Pac beat Lucero & David Diaz. Make Hatton miss then strafe him from the outside. We saw it in Pac's last 2 fights. He never let his opponent tie him up on the inside. Pac will have a Punch fest from the outside for this fight. Hatton's arms are way too short to Block Pac's avalanche of punches. Pac K0 rd 5.
It went exactly How I predicted. Pac just ends it too early.

It's nice to see PAC showing great concern on Ricky (he looks like a little boy in this pic) after inflicting the worst beating ever on Ricky... There's nothing personal on it... It's only part of boxing...

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Pacquiao's a good guy, and you know whoever lost, either Ricky or Manny would check to see if the other was ok.
Although a very brutal loss, it contained 2 fighters who are proud and respectful, and with all the trash talking and bullcrap you see between other fighters all the time, I'm glad these guys are just as much themselves in the ring as they are out of it.
Happy for Pacquiao, sad for Hatton, but in the end, the better man won.
Well done Manny ;)
Maybe have a darts rematch now? In the Philippines of course :D

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
link --> RICKY: I HAVEN'T STOPPED CRYING
RICKY HATTON has revealed he has not stopped crying since his brutal KO defeat by Manny Pacquiao.
Britain’s most popular fighter was due home from Las Vegas this morning but has decided to remain there until the weekend to ponder his ring future.
Hatton, 30, who is being comforted by his fiancée Jennifer Dooley, admitted how badly he has been affected, saying: “I am absolutely devastated. My head is in bits.
“I didn’t think I could cry any more than after the Floyd Mayweather Jnr loss but I certainly have.”
‘The Hitman’, who lost to Mayweather Jnr in December 2007, admitted his chances of defeating the Filipino were over when he suffered the first of three knockdowns in round one.
He added: “He knocked me down from practically the first punch he threw and I never recovered.
“Maybe if I had gone a few rounds I could have won but there was nothing I could do about it.
“Whatever I decide to do I am sorry but I won’t be making any rash decisions.”
Hatton, who plans a long-term career as a boxing promoter, is expected to announce his decision at the opening of his new gym in Hyde on Tuesday.
He says: “I have worked with a lot of promoters and I can become the best promoter in the world because I’ll do right by the fighters and that doesn’t always happen.”
Although Hatton insists he is undecided on whether to box again, the smart money is on a farewell fight in Manchester later this year, possibly against former WBO lightweight champion Michael Katsidis.

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Hey no shame in :bawling: like a baby after that kind of defeat. Plenty of $$$ bills to wipe the tears away though. He'll really be crying if he gets knocked out in a farewell fight to Katsidis or Khan. I wish him well though.

Yep no shame in crying... Even PAC cried right after hearing his decision loss to Erik Morales on top of the ring infront of millions of TV viewers around the world... Tho for Hatton, I'm guessing he was crying inside... He was holding it off and actually didn't show it openly...
Crying with this kind of defeat won't make you a lesser man...

So Ricky really felt the right hook from Pac then.
Hatton v Katsidis. That'd be awesome!

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Another Hatton article from British press:
link --> Ricky, now is the time to PAC it in
RICKY HATTON should be forced to watch himself being KO’d by Manny Pacquiao every day before deciding whether he will fight again.
The X-rated video will provide all the evidence he needs to help him make up his mind that his boxing career is over.
Hatton should also be made to study the haunting pictures of his traumatised fiancée Jennifer Dooley at the Las Vegas ringside.
Seeing her pretty face screwed up in a mixture of terror and anguish as she saw him lying comatose on the canvas should make him focus on doing the right thing.
And that’s retire while he’s healthy and can enjoy his millions, happy in the knowledge he has earned a place in boxing’s Hall of Fame.
Because if he should take another blow to the head as severe as the one landed by Pacquiao, he may not get away with it.
I was in the Sky Studios commentating on the action with ex-champs Johnny Nelson and Nicky Piper and we feared the worst.
As the medics worked frantically to bring him around for several dreadful seconds that seemed an eternity, we thought we were staring at a corpse — it was that scary.
I’ve seen many similar devastating one-punch knockouts. Sugar Ray Leonard poleaxing Dave ‘Boy’ Green, Julian Jackson dropping Herol Graham as if he’d been shot and Wilfred Benitez turning the lights out on Maurice Hope were equally frightening.
After suffering such concussive blows Green, Graham and Hope were never the same fighters again.
Hatton being bombed out by Pacquiao was no surprise to me — I’d forecast it repeatedly. Twelve months ago, this column appeared under the headline ‘Quit Now Ricky’.
It was based on what I had seen when Ricky struggled to outpoint journeyman Juan Lazcano in front of more than 50,000 of his ecstatic fans at Manchester City’s ground.
The many flaws that had developed were glaringly obvious that night as Lazcano, a feather-duster puncher, came close to putting him on the floor three times.
Five months earlier, in December 2007, Hatton had been outclassed and demolished by Floyd Mayweather Jnr.
I wrote: “Hatton’s punch resistance has gone, along with much of his timing and reflexes.”
I put that down to his binge-drinking and junk-food diet, which causes him to balloon three to four stones above his fighting weight.
The sycophants and cheerleaders who surround Hatton won’t thank me for saying he has been in a steady decline since he peaked when beating Kostya Tszyu in June 2005.
Remember, in December Pacquiao battered Oscar De La Hoya non-stop for eight rounds yet couldn’t put him down once. And Oscar was drained making the welterweight limit.
By contrast, the magical Manny put Hatton on the deck three times in six minutes.
Every ex-fighter I’ve spoken to this week, from Barry McGuigan to Green, wants Ricky to hang up his gloves immediately.
His dad, Ray, says he isn’t going to pressure him as he must make up his own mind.
But his entire family should be begging Ricky to forget about climbing through the ropes again because of the risk he’d be taking.
If Ricky signs a contract for another fight he could be writing a suicide note.

Hatton needs to move on. Travel the world with his beautiful fiancee or something.

Hatton does indeed seem to be facing the wrong way round. When I get this game I am going to make the result as it should have been. The actual result did not mirror my views even one little bit. Very annoying.

It's more comical and embarrassing if the referee will ask the supposedly "Ricky Hatton" before the fight with a question like this; "Are you really Ricky Hatton? Please make sure you are the true Ricky Hatton"... :lolhaha:
I suggest the referee should include this question in the pre-fight instructions... ;D

Now after the fight, Team Hatton still in panic mode and don't know what will be the right excuse or just say no excuses;
Mayweather Sr: "Ricky lost since he has another trainer"
Ray Hatton: "That wasn't Ricky in that ring" (Hmmnn... could it be Matthew?? )
Lee Beard: "No excuses, It's the same Ricky..."
“We knew how fast he was and he was a puncher but Manny was so strong mentally and refused to let Ricky get the upper hand. Even when Ricky tried to force his size on Manny, he would stand his ground and trade then use his speed to keep one step in front of Ricky. Nobody has done that to Ricky. What Manny did, even Floyd Jr. in the first 5 to 6 rounds had nightmares with Ricky and Ricky was fighting in the same way against Manny but was unable to get to him as he did with Floyd. Manny was very dominant,” Lee Beard said.

The Mayweather fight was the one that totally gutted me.... The hopes were so high for him to win, and I really thought that he could impose himself enough to take enough rounds off Mayweather... In retrospect he probably did a better job than I really expected.
But seeing Mayweather start to get the better of him and the knock down was heart breaking...
What made Hatton so good to rise to the top was his tenacity and the real edge to his step which kept him sharp... He just didn't have that after Mayweather and the Pac fight was just really sad... In a way it's probably okay that he went down when he did and stayed down, because he would have got his exposed head battered for as long as he was standing..

Yes, the Mayweather fight was a tough pill to swallow too. Hatton is frustrating because he simply refused to stay in any kind of shape between fights. You never see someone like Froch or Haye ballooning up, so it makes you wonder if Hatton could have just done that bit more had he looked after himself a bit better. I remember in the Pac pre fight stuff how fat Hatton was compared with Pac. It seemed half the camp was geared towards dieting and then the other half the actual technical side of things. Mayweather clearly took something from Hatton, but he was his own worst enemy too. I clinged onto the hope that he would be big enough to handle Pac, but Hatton was just overwhelmed. Losing in such a way was extremely upsetting. It was just the wrong way to lose a fight and of course nothing heard from Hatton ever again. I guess that's boxing. :-\

I don't think it was any help what so ever to have a Mayweather training him for the Pac fight... He may have felt things had gone downhill with Billy Graham,,, but no one can really say that Graham didn't get the best out of him.. And maybe like you said if his diet and lifestyle was better in between fights, he could have done better against Floyd...
He just looked like an amateur against Pac.. Completely throwing away that boxing book and expecting his weight and heavy handedness, especially to the body, to win over the smaller fighter.... But we have since learnt Pac isn't afraid of the extra size at all (Cotto for one I think was physically stonger than Hatton)...
Hatton needed to bring in all the technical skills he had utilized throughout his career, and for some reason taking on a trainer who is dedicated to technicality, did the complete opposite for him...
Maybe he just wanted to prove his toughness after being overwhelmed by Mayweather, and totally disregarded that even the toughest fighters need to be technically sound to an extent... Otherwise they are going down...
This was definitely the coming out fight for Pac though at the higher weights... Only a serious fool wouldn't take a fight with Pac very seriously after he showed his power is as, or more, devastating at this higher weight..
