that's because it's athletics and not a beauty pageant.
Is it? Really and here's me constantly posting about the volleyball and everything with no mention of sporting achievement. I was merely commenting on the spectacle of extremes.
Personally,I like short and curvy
Eat Greenbeanz and you won't get scurvy:-X

Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
USA gymnast McKayla Maroney showed extremely poor sportsmanship after finishing second in Sunday's vault final. I know she had to be extremely disapppointed with the silver, since she was such a huge favorite. But she was way off base by basically, mostly refusing congratulations from the gold medal winner and the other gymnasts. She came off as a spoiled brat, for which I'm glad she lost. We certainly don't need more little sore losers in the world.

Anthony Joshua improves over his lucky win against Savon, and even the Fenster curse can't slow him down. Guaranteed medal, and I thought he really did well against Zhang. Zhang did look like a Klitschko clone, had the same jab as Wladimir.

Well done to the pair of them.
Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
Yet again the crowd support for the event, not just the Brits, was amazing for that triathlon.
@rhun - don't count your chickens yet... there'll be 10 seconds left, big Joshua in an unassailable lead, Richie Woodhall singing his praises for an heroic performance (10 seconds is a long time for the Fenster curse).
Liu Xiang falling at the first? Coincidence? Sorry China.
Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
Congratulations to the British guy Rutherford the long jumper for winning gold the other day and more importantly for proving that gingers can overcome their deformity and become very successful in everyday life. Plus being a ginger means he automatically qualifies for the Paralympics* although now they're allowing a ramp I don't fancy his chances against some of those wheelchair longjumpers.
*Looking forward to the Saddo 2012 Paralympic Youtube thread.

Well done Hoy, Pendleton is a bottler.
I thought the triathlon was good. I agree that the support was really nice. I almost had a feeling.

That may be true, but she still bricked it. Hoy showed the mark of a real dedicated professional. All this retiring at 31 fap? Go on and do so. I won't miss you with your prematurely aging eyes. There are better, younger girls willing to take her place.
