re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
exactly what I thought mate re the deer hunter - that fucking wedding scene goes on longer than an episode of Lost
I studied it at uni as part of a module I was doing and there was a big debate about why Robert De niro stripped off after the wedding eg people saying he wanted to leave his culture behind and get away from it, soul cleansing etc..
I thought to myself - maybe Bob just wanted to get his cock out ???

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I just saw the Crazies last weekend. Decent flick. I just wish there'd been more 'crazies' in it.
I also saw Law Abiding Citizen last night. It was just 'meh'. Gerard Butler is totally crap at doing an American accent.

ha ha i think they just wanted some hype for the movie, the wedding scene never ended i think we get the picture there all friends & nieve & all that bollocks but it must of been on for a bloody hour or summit
watched couples retreat with the wife last night, it was extremely average comedy funny for first half then shitty serious 2nd half

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
i was really excited abt watching the fourth kind as looked pretty good from the trailers, man this film is freakiest i have ever seen, it stars milla jovovich playing a psychologist named Abigail Tyler who interviewed traumatized patientswho believed they had been abducted by aliens in Nome, Alaska.
half the footage of movie is real & really shit me up, some really freaky scary stuff:o. i had never heard abt her work & i will do some research thru the internet because it is really interesting. The thing that ruined the movie was the mix of real footage & the acting as the real footage is grainny & old looking which makes it weirder then mixes to bloody well lit hollywood shite. other than that this made for very interesting viewing, i would be very interested to know if any of you guys have seen this film.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
ok i have reserached all i need now for the fourth kind
i will leave it @ that

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
ok i gotta apologise first after slagging off CGI & avatar!
was me birthday monday so me wife took me cinema & there wasnt really anything on so we decided to watch avatar in 3D, & we both enjoyed it! prob the first time since the original star wars films that i felt i was in a different world;D i would recommend it to anyone who wants to get outta some home reality.
also watched michael moores new film capatilism: a love story, thought this was pretty good & i have enjoyed his last 3 films, i understand he does over the top abit but it paints a disturbing picture of america just like his previous films.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)

He BLATANTLY lies in his movies to get his OPINION across so I think that calling them "documentaries" does a disservice to people who actually make factual documentaries instead of skewing what happened until it fits their radical political view.
I watched Miller's Crossing, great film

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I just got done watching Humphrey Bogart's last film "The Harder They Fall" on TCM. It's a boxing movie and it was pretty decent, it's basically the true life story of anyone that has been "built up" when the people on the inside knew all along the guy being built up was a bum. But in this case it's pretty much about Primo Carnera, the fighter being built up is Toro Moreno and his nickname is "The Wild Man of The Andes" (Primo's nickname was "The Ambling Alp" they both are in reference to mountains)and he's really tall and in the end Max Baer(of course he's playing a character bu it's odd that it's still Max Baer) beats the shit out of him. Also there is another boxer in this film Jersey Joe Walcott, he plays kind of a trainer/sparring partner type role but it's a big role and he did well.
I suggest you guys see this film, it's pretty decent, it also has Rod Stieger as the bad guy

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Alice in Wonderland. Was not bad at all, beautiful visually and filled with madness, a good compromise for kids and adults even if it doesn't follow the lead of the book.

50 dead men walking film abt an IRA informant, it was ok
Fighting this film is the biggest rip off of AWOL ever, still it was better than most street fighting films i seen

Watched 2012 yesterday and I was not big on it. It just seemed to be drawn out for a very long time and there is only so much you can watch of CGI earthquakes and tsunamis.

I Can do Bad All by Myself. Big thumbs down, although Tiraji Henson is GORGEOUS even on a bad day.
At least I counterbalanced it with healthy portions of season 3 of The Wire. Man, that is a fantastic show.

Well i bought a 3disc Arnie boxset that has Preditor1,Terminator1 and comando a few days ago.Even though i've seen these great films a million times i still get a kick out of them, though i do find Comando quite cheesey after i've watched it a million times, though i love the kick arse revenge scene were he's going crazy in the garden of that mansion with every deadly weapon ever put on earth:D.There's something about great 80s action films.I was born and brought up in the 80s and i watched 18 rating action films at a very young age(maybe 7-9 years old)due to my older brother borrowing 18 rated films from his mate and bring them round on the weekend while me mother and father were out drinking.Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, there were sure were the great old days.
I watched the Terminator a few days ago,"Yet again"great film,i never get sick on watching that film!!!

Commando is the one with Alyssa Milano, right? I remember him throwing that pole through the guy's chest in the end and he's pinned to the wall, dead, but holding the pole up with one hand.
The gratuitous nudity of 80s movies is funny too. When he's fighting with Bill Duke and they bust through the wall and the couple hops out of bed and the woman's boobs go flying all over. It was hilarious.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I watched Peter Pan 2: Return to Neverland yesterday. I know I always watch these Disney films, but they are the best thing on the TV out here. I won't even begin to describe some of the dross they try to make you endure. Anyway, I quite liked it. Some of the animation was absurd, but on the whole I thought it was alright. The wife hated it and thought it was rubbish, but I have a soft spot for Peter Pan and the lost boys and good old Tinkerbell.

Yes. We had a crappy VCR at the time too so I couldn't get a good view when I paused. So I did a lot of rewinding.

Tell no one was a great flick. I didn't think I was gonna like it at first but then it got really interesting.
I also thought moon was pretty good. Def a different movie I think thats why I liked it.
