Seems Miles has left the building.
Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
I really thought Tom Stalker did enough there.
Just a note on the scoring -
I went last Saturday, there are 5 judges and the lowest and highest score for each fighter is disregarded at the end of each round but you see all the judges scores before that happens. On every single round of every fight you had situations where 4 of the judges had it around 6-5, 7-6, 6-4 etc all for the same fighter and the fifth judge would go something like 8-1 for the other fighter. Totally bizarre.

So did i just said the samething in the other thread, but then again we've had 2 gift decision's. But i suppose two wrongs don't make a right, some very questionable scoring so far to say the least. I think they should go back the old scoring system.

Yeah the old system was awful. But this is double awful.
I actually think we have had two gifts for us and two against us now (Stalker and Savanah Marshall).
But people should also remember that in amateur boxing -
Effective aggression = not relevant
Ring generalship = not relevant
Workrate = not relevant
The power of punches = not relevant
The only thing that is relevant = landing punches with the knuckle part of the glove to the head or body with 'sufficient' force.
I think its easy, especially with this system, for fans to score the fight in the context of a professional fight.
Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
They have lodged a protest over the Stalker decision.
Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
I just watched the semi final womens hockey New Zealand vs Holland. OMG.
Nederlands is in the final watch them when they play for gold there are more honeys than not in their team, its a treat and the cameramen are all on our side picking out fit honeys in the audience as well.
Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
Was watching this last night at work. I particularly liked the Dutch girl in the shoot out who just had a touch of the ball and cracked it into the top corner from the edge of the D. no fucking about.
Andre Ellen Hoog has some very nice pictures on the Interweb.

Indeed, a google images search confirms this statement. However, is she a lesbian? There are quite a few of the pictures where she has her arm around one of the other players and is looking lovingly into her eyes?

Re: The 2012 London Olympic Games
Had a text from a girl at work last night to ask if I was watching the boxing. I asked if it was men or women (finding the blokes fights a bit dull so prefer watching the ladies) she said cant tell, they're wearing head sponges ;D
I think a name change is needed. Head sponges sounds much better.
