Lets see, Pac displays an excellent/impressive bodyfat composition as it is. even at 147, so I'm curios how he is going to lose 7 pounds of overall weight to make 140, but yet is strengthining multiple bodyparts which will result in more muscle development and mass..Something dosent add up right :headscratch:
WOW :o I guess nothing is out of limits and reality if your a Pac fan:rolleyes:
As far as I know, PAC weighed in only at 142 for his 147 Hoya fight and weighed 148 on fight night... 148 is his usual fight night weight in his last 3 fights at 147 (Hoya), 135 (Diaz) and 130 (JMM) divisions...
I think PAC can easily make 140 while still strengthening upper body, legs and all parts of the midsection... Trust me... ;)
It defies physics and logic dude... muscle weighs more than fat. Manny couldnt get anymore shredded than he already is, how do you advocate losing weight without losing muscle mass, in which you claim he will be strengthening more body part which will add more muscle weight.. Seriously man do you read half the stuff you post.... Makes no damn sense
Dude, PAC weigh-in at 142 for a 147 fight and that's without dieting, food restrictions and any "making the weight" activities... PAC will develop more muscle mass and still make the 140 lbs. limit... I still think PAC will not go through any dieting again... PAC will be well conditioned for this 140 fight...
It's Hatton whom I'm worried of not making 140 or will kill himself to make 140 come weigh-in time...;)
.

Has Hatton ever come in over-weight for a major fight?

Nope... but maybe this time...
PAC for sure will have difficulty making 135 but 140 would be easy for PAC...

Maybe. However, there is absolutely no reason to think that will be the case. From all accounts he hasn't ballooned up in weight as badly as he's been prone to doing in the past, and he showed no difficulty in making 140 for his last two fights.

OK I'll give you that but who do you think will have a much easier time making 140, PAC or Hatton??

Your use of the period (.) confounds me...
Obviously Hatton will have a more difficult time making 140 because he's the naturally bigger man (I swear to God if you start talking about the length of Pac's arms it is fucking on). However, he's fought over 40 fights at that weight and, to the best of my knowledge, has never missed it once.
I've also heard people make the point that the very struggle to make 140 helps him in the ring because of the mental edge it gives him.

I agree... "The struggle to make weight will make the actual fight easy"... ;)

I quote: "Hatton's pressure only works against weaker and slower fighters than he".......
Kostya Tszyu was weaker and slower?
Couldn't reisist the quip, no hard feelings, ;)
I've seen plenty of slower fighters beat quicker fighters before. Not only does Hatton have the proverbial puncher's chance, he's also got a good smothering style that could really stymie Pac a bit. It will be a head-to-head clash, (literally, too!! OUCH!!), and I wouldnt be a bit surprised to see this fight go to the scorecards early from a real bade slicing type of billy-goat unintentional butt.
I say Round 5 it goes to the cards and it's a DRAW!!!!;D

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Roach approach: Pacquiao going for Hatton's fragile chin
Manny Pacquiao will give it to Ricky Hatton flush on the chin.
That’s what trainer Freddie Roach wants. That’s what Pacquiao is going to do.
“We’re going after his chin. That’s the money shot,” said Roach as Pacquiao trained vigorously for his May 2 title fight against the British superstar at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao sparred last Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in Los Angeles, knocking out and busting the eye of an undefeated Armenian boxer on the first day of sparring at the Wild Card Gym.
In training for the Oscar dela Hoya last December, Pacquiao went for the body, forcing Roach to wear a three-inch thick body armor so his boxer won’t hold back on his punches.
Roach still wears the armor but said they’re focusing more on the head. They must have found a crack on Hatton’s chin, and they’re going for in a bid to put him out early on.
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
IMO this is bad advice from Roach. If you want to beat a Hatton, you gotta fight like or somewhat like FM Jr... going straight for the chin is good for Hatton. This will increase the leverage of his shots, and it means Pac will be coming straight in.
Its gotta be a ploy to psyche out Hatton, saying such things like this. No way is Pac coming straight in. Ricky can tag him good like that.
But the headbutts will be there big time, take my word for it. This could go to the cards early.

PAC can target Hatton's chin when he attacks and he can target it too when Hatton is coming in ala PBF's checkhook... But IMO, PAC will use the straight left or hooks (both left and right) in cracking Hatton's chin...
.
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
I'm not sure about who the winner will be but if PAC throws straight punches and moves after he executes, we are looking at cuts on Hatton. I like Hatton but the only way he can truly dominate throughout is if PAC stops going for the chin and goes for the body which would be foolish and he would play right into Hatton's hands. All in all it should be close for the first six rounds and then it is who wants it the most. PAC will be bringing some speed and his will. He's also got momentum from his last fight psychologically and PAC loves the limelight.

Your WAAAAY to confident in your man, Hatton might be past his best but at 140 he has never really looked like losing.

I been watching Hatton fights lately & always seeing the same attack movements from him. He always leans to his left when he attacks. After just 1 rd, I think Pac will time him already & will start hitting hatton with Lead straight left.
I don't know what Floyd sr can do to Hatton but I don't think he can add another inch to Hatton arms. Don't think he can make Hatton faster either. To beat Pac you need to have Speed, defensive skills, counter punching skills, and the CHIN to hold you up. Unfortunately Hatton has only speed but still way slower than what Pac is capable of.
