Dude, I DVR'd it being home from work. Look, I'm sorry... They're apparently writing a script as we speak for a new MotU movie... Nobody beats Lundgren in that movie. He was SPOT ON as He-Man. I too hadn't seen the movie in about 20 years.Quote:

my daughters are always asking to watch the he man cartoon they watch it nearly everyday, sure they only made abt 10 episodes of it?

also a civil action, travolti is great, good courtroom drama 8 outta 10
balls of fury, was surprised by this film, expected nothing & was laughing thru out 7 outta 10;D;D
Shudder Island - I give it a solid 8/10...

Well, It could have gone two ways. He could have reverted back into his fantasy state or he couldn't live with the fact that his children are dead and he killed his wife so he pretended to revert to have the labotomy done.

Agreed mate. That was my thinking as well, just dicking around with his shrink. Very good film - it's one of those films where you can see it coming but you don't - hard to explain. DiCaprio is a brilliant actor imo.

i saw it last night & really enjoyed it, really wished i had seen it @ the cinema now. thought that it was probably 20 mins to long but apart from that it was excelent.
I dunno abt the ending, & i think that makes it an even better film, cos we could speak all day abt it

What a fucking twisted movie.
It's not a really graphic movie, so if you were expecting that, or hoping for that, you're not going to get it, but it is one bizarre movie.
Dr Heiter is one of the creepiest characters ever. Casting was perfect with him. I swear, if I would ever see that guy out in public, I would walk in the other direction. He looks like Christopher Walken with a lot of bad plastic surgery.
And as in all B Horror movies, there's has to be dumb girls who always make the wrong decisions. :shakehead:
Oh, and I see that HTH made a cameo appearance in the movie. I'm sure his lines when he pulls up to the girls car just came naturally. ;D

Quality Mexican film about a girl who's torn between her boyfriend and her ex, and a seperate story of an old bloke who wants to kill himself...all on the same day in Acapulco. Definitely worth a watch if you can hold of it in the UK - not available on Region 2 i don't think.

Wow! a real fucken treat of a movie IMO.
I was glued to the screen from begining to end, it just sucks you right in grips you and doesn't let you go for a second.
I'm gonna go ahead and nominate that one as the underrated film of the year.
I didn't see much ads or selling of the movie...
Last year several of us agreed that "Felon" was the most underrated film of 08.
I think it was Wadeb, Lyle and myself... I think? Maybe someone else?

Well if you only like horror movies that are all about blood and gore, then you won't like this movie. It's more of the thought of what's going on that creeps you out. I watched Vanhalla Rising on a great copy a couple of weeks ago.I cant tell you this and honestly say it was the weirdest film i've seen.I think whoever directed it was high on something.Im not saying its a crap film of a good film,but i will say that i've you want to experience a weird start,middle and end kind of film then watch it.Weird as hell,bit violent and a bit gory too.Strange watch!
Last two i watched which i would recommend,
Daybreakers - Vampire movie with a different angle on the classic vampire movies, good cast too!
From Paris with Love - Travolta once again puts in a sterling performance this time as a hitman tackling terrorists in Paris
HOT TUB TIME MACHINE
very funny film, better than the hangover if you ask me
