WHY LENNOX LEWIS IS TRULY A FAKE CHAMPION

nah ur wrong lewis won round 3 and may be 6
klitschko won the rest, lewis shud have take the first 6 rounds since he was heavier and promise to knock klitschko out in less than 5 rounds.
the nest 6 rounds or so would hav gone against lewis, since lennox was heavier and would have got
more tired quickly,
klitschko took it easy in the first 6 rounds and had a strategy to get lewis tired and then knock him out.
if klitschko had dominated the early rounds imagine what he would have done in later rounds when he would have taken it seriouisly.
so work out who would have got knocked out, apart from lewis gettin knoc into retirement

i dont think he can beat prime holyfield, 80's tyson will sleep him within few minutes. holyfield looks way more tired againts old george foreman then againts lewis. Just look how many punch big george can take .... lewis? only with his good resistance.. he can win the fight ... that's why even he's retired as a champ few people think he's the best. the best ??? i gotta laugh that one

America never really warmed to Lewis, naturally enough because he wasn't American. England seemed lukewarm on him as well because of him representing Canada in the Olympics. The disrespect from the klitlickers is a bit much. Lewis deserves respect.

Everyone avoided him including the guys that US fans now say would have dealt with him. A prime Tyson may have been to much for him but I think he had Bowe and Holyfeild's number. I admire Holyfeild but he struggled a lot at heavy in his supposed prime (Moorer, Cooper, Holmes, Foreman) and fought great fights against Bowe and a lesser version of Tyson.

The Klits are good fighters but Vlad has got to be a dominant player in the division for at least another 5 years to be seriously compared to Lewis

Lewis is a REAL CHAMP, and those who don't think so are mostly Klitchko nut-huggers, who know that neither one of them could beat Lewis on their best days, and his worst. Klitchko and Lewis don't belong in the same sentence, much less same boxing class.

Woah people geez, let's all settle down.

Lewis is an all time Great, Wlad and Vitali's places aren't cemented just yet, especially Wlad's since he's only 30. But yeah so far Lewis was in another class, just BARELY beat Vitali though...but he was out of his prime when he fought Tyson so Vitali caught him on the downside and due to a freak cut the fight was stopped.

In 1984, as the newsletter editor of the BC Amateur Boxing Assocition
it was nice to be able to attend the Canadian Olympic Boxing Teams training site. Of interest, a young Lennox Lewis was there. Although he didn't win a medal in 1984, I knew he was a class act at 18. Four years later, he won Gold in 1988 and the rest is history.

SIXTH
Vitali, a 5-1 'dog, landed 155 punches in six rounds and was on a pace to land over 300 punches vs. Lewis. The previous high landed vs. Lewis was 223, by Ray Mercer in May of '96.

It would have been a regular punch had Vitali not leaned back. He leans back gets thumbed by ACCIDENT and it tore open his eyelid.

If Shane Mosley had leaned back Vernon's uppercut would neverh ave hit him

If Roy Jones had kept his right hand high he wouldn't have been knocked out.

There's a lot of what if's in boxing. You can't just single them to Vitali and give him credit.

Fact is, he didn't, Lennox hit him and opened a gash over his eye and got the stoppage.
