I aint biased about Ricky Hatton, I've always stated that I don't think he would PBF!!
When you look at what happened to Lacy, you have to think that Hatton is sensible in taking his time, the way MAB and JC Chavez did, at the end of the day he is a 3 time world champ (whatever anybody says) and his stock is pretty high right now! Better than than fighting PBF or Cotto ( his 2 main threats imo) before he was ready. Peronally I don't think he will ever be ready for PBF, but let's be honest who wiill??
I :appl: for admitting hatton ain't ready but that don't change the facts that your bias for him. You making a positive comment about the mans performance without even seeing it already proves that.

Mitchell - Coming off a loss - to guess who Kosta Tszyu
Judah - Coming off a loss and already lost 3
But aren't we talking about Collazo not Tszyu. That victory is not in question is it.I think all three of those guys are better than collazo.

Just out of curiousity Manick...where does this arguement end?
I mean...your'e a fan of some fighter, correct?
I gotta say that you would defend your man to the end, right?
What's done is done...we may not all buy it...but just because the outcome & the performance was what Hatton promised...just because it wasn't what we expected...that doesn't mean that the kid doesn't have skills...nor does it mean that he doesn't deserve a second chance.
Can we atleast all agree on that?

I gotta disagree with you on one thing...Judah aint better than Collazo...atleast he sure as shat wasn't last night.
Look at it like this. Hatton meets his hype...he did it when he destroyed Kostya.
Judah has NEVER met his hype.
NEVER...so don't anyone say Corey fwockin Spinks.
Collazo was a more sound fighter all the way around based on any performance that Judah has had with any upper level opponents. He was focused & he got up from a knockdown to work out the end of the stretch...which I do think that he won.
Kostya & Mitchell are far superior fighters than both Collazo, IWO...but that was a while ago.
Re: I'm not bashing Ricky Hatton but......
At 5'6 who expects Ricky to be at his best fighting true welterweights?

I didn't make any direct comment about the Collazo performance, all I said was every fighter has a bad day at the office, he's had 40 good ones prior to that. Look at Holyfiled in the 1st Moorer fight - it was a bad day at the office and he then went on to beat Tyson and avenge Moorer. All I was saying is figters have bad days like anybody else and regardless of the Collazo fight I think Hatton has proved a lot already and I am sure he will bounce back from WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD was a lacklustre performance.
I will be downloading it later so I can see for myself

When my fighter does good I expect him to be praised and when he does bad I expect him to be questioned. What I don't like about alot of hatton fans is that they feel he can't be questioned when he looks bad. But at the end of the day i could care less about any boxer because none of them sit around and talk about us.

I think collazo may be better now but the question is did you think that before this fight. I knew he was ok. I picked him to win.

I DID NOT COMMENT on the Collazo fight - I said regardless of that fight cut him some slack coz he is allowed 1 bad fight after 40 good ones - so whether I have seen it (Which I openly said I haven't) is not relevant now is it!!
