No one else notice his huge lack of power tonight ???
Seemed to be flicking the punches out rather than planting his feet and delivering with some shoulder push.
I NOTICED IT

he was showboating because he wanted his opponent to come forward and also Kahn was frustrated that he had a match on his hands
maybe hes watched too many naz videos ;DQuote:

noticed it for along time ago... you look back at alot of his fights... hes fast and throws alot of punches causing the ref to stop the fight even when the other guy isnt in toruble. ;)Quote:

He bounces on his toes like an amateur far too much, which means there is no real power in the combinations he throws. He also needs to use his jab, be patient and pick his punches better. At the moment he is bouncing around throwing some untidy flurries and missing wildly at times, which leaves him wide open to counter shots.
He could have come unstuck tonight if the other guy was a decent puncher.
Khan has all the tools needed to be a top fighter - he just needs to tighten up a bit and put some more thought into his punch selection.
His "in fighting' is shockingly bad too
needs to adress this asap 8)
I really think that lots of us on this thread (Saddo and the Mods included) right now are skating round what is really on our mind deep down)
amir ain't as good as we hope and he quite possibly is all Hype 8)
no mate its far to early to tell hes just a kid and you have to take into account he was never gonna stop this guy... right fight at the right time IMO.
need to not get too unfoced by the hype and learn the pro game and develop.
i have never thought he should be topping a bill on ITV the main fight on that bill was takaloo - magee and they only showed half of it.
Khans still good just need to bring it into perspective ;)
you loved him a few months ago Smash ;)
I think he's had it a bit too easy... I know he's getting bought on carefully but the last thing you want is a fighter getting too complacent and KTFO by a flash shot off a bum.
Khan has the raw talent... wether he and the people around him can harness it remains to be seen. Once he reaches double figures he'll be in against some good guys so he wants to starting the work in the gym now.
Maybe because me and Smash had a little talk in private about Amir's weaknesses and we both put them on the table. And it seems like he looked worse tonight then the time me and Smash had our private conversation.. thats why ;)
Although it turned out to be a bit of a stinker it takes the piss that Magee Takaloo was shown six rounds in.
Who else does Oliver Harrison train, does he work with Kevin Mitchell as well?
Maybe Im way off the mark but I get the same feeling with Amir as I do with David Hayes trainer "who the fuck are these people training our brightest hopes?"
