Elvis is as big as he ever was, and always will be because he was a pretty good singer. You are also right to imply that nothing at all of any musical significance has ever come out of Europe, so we are bound to just follow the US lead on things like music. In fact, I am pleasantly surprised you even know where Europe is on a map!

I think that having Ring Entrance music is a huge fuckin joke!!!

I thought it was the funniest thing in the world when Corey Spinks had that HUGE entrance to the Ring with Nelly Rapping his ass off all the way to the Ring to see Corey take an ass beating from Zab...

Naseem used to kill me with his entrances....

All this crap is useless, Throw away the stinking Rap music entrances...It dont mean that the guy comming out to it is any harder than the song....

What you should ask is,

Where are all the hard ass fighters at???

Whatever happened to fighters over the past 20+ years amazes me...

The days of Boom-Boom Jr., "Little Red" Lopez(THE BADDEST FIGHTER OF ALL TIME!!), "Smokin Joe", Hagler....Etc, Etc...I am not saying we dont have some tough fighters out there, but I am saying that we have fallen way short in some areas....

Lets bring back some bad ass fighters and get rid of all the musical sideshows!!!!

And Elvis, who's dissing THE KING??? Elvis beats the crap out of anyone else he was the master AND the commander of music. Country, R&B, Rock, Gospel....he held #1's in all of those genres, he was a multidimensional showman perhaps the likes of which we'll never see again. The closest thing to him would be a prime Michael Jackson before he got all wierd, I would say right after Thriller he was at an Elvis type level.

Entrance music doesn't dictate the fight in any way shape or form but guys could use it to sandbag an opponent, imagine a prime Mike Tyson walking to the ring with The Benny Hill Show theme song playing.

Roberto Duran was a badass, he had a Panamanian band play during the fight some times
